Just watched your streams of my quest. I'll apologies about the torture I left at the end. But there is a reason I tell people to not take the Temple of Cole challenge. It's optional for a reason.

Anyways, despite how hated the Temple was. I'd do it all over again in my next quest, but of course use all the new tricks I learned. I'll give you a hand for getting as far as you did because it was designed to drive a person mad, as the new one will also in my new quest to come. It's not the Temple for everybody as it was built using all the senseless stupid mistakes that alot of video game companies got away with back in the 80s. You see, I got alot of criticism for it, but most people watching that video did not realize that this Temple was built out of pure satire. It's dumb, it's senseless, and includes all the most cryptic techniques found in classic 80's gaming.

What I don't get is why people didn't actually see the satire in it, the moment the Temple started people should have saw that I had every intention of making a cryptic mess. People kept saying how much it sucked. That was the point. That's the point of satire, but I guess everybody took it way too seriously.

But all in all, I did enjoy the watch. Good effort, none of the least. I promise I will make the next one even worse. :) A hell of a lot more cryptic (Despite people not agreeing with my approach)

NJF, I'm gonna tell you something Evan told me when I tried to make a purposely bad boss for satire. "You can throw s*** in somebody's face and then go, 'it's alright, it's satire,' but you still threw s*** in their face."

I kinda get what you were trying to do, but that doesn't change the fact that that was the single worst thing I've ever seen done in ZC. There's poking fun at cryptic 80s games, and there's being a total ass, and that temple definitely fell into the second category.

Like I said above, despite what you or other people thought of it, I would (and I am) doing it again. Just don't enter these kind of temples if you don't like them.  :whap:

I made that Temple very hard to find, because It's my way in telling people to stay out of it. The next Temple of Cole in my new quest will be much worse, like I said, but that's okay, I plan to make it so difficult to find in my next quest that people will just think I forgot to add it. But it will be there, lingering in the shadows, existing, but you won't find it, at least I hope not anyways. My mistake with this one is that I made it much easier to find than I thought, who would have thought that people would actually attempt that long winding invisible maze in the empty sea????

The funniest part about it really is that people don't heed the subtle warnings. Everybody still tries to find it, everybody still tries to beat it, everybody still watched Jubbs videos despite temple's poor crytpic nature, and everybody still watched it to the very end, and chances are would have if it continued. Despite the hate, it actually seemed to me that sometimes you just gotta love to hate.  :snide:

But that's my thoughts anyways, I didn't force anybody's hand to play that temple.

At least the temple provided some fun jubbz stream to watch.

Temple of Cole 2:

- More ridiculously overpowered enemies.

- More cheap deaths.

- More identical rooms.

- More senseless things that will kill you.

- More unusually hidden (but required warps).

- More traps.

- But you wont find it.

ps: If you don't like it, than

So I have a huge question here, if you're making a dungeon for people to not want to go there, why even make the dungeon at all if they're not gonna play it? That's like cooking a huge dinner, eating some of it, and throwing away the rest.

Well, just because the cooking is made of poison doesn't mean I don't love cooking. I love to cook it, I just don't want anybody eating it.

Yeah, I'm with Goriya here. What's the point of making a game that you don't want people to play? That's so counter-intuitive I don't even know where to begin.

Guys, this is probably a discussion you should take elsewhere, instead of a thread about stream times and schedules. It's getting pretty off-topic now.

Well holy damn, I come in here, and Lots of Coleslaw Discussion!

Dude, if you didn't want peeps to find the Coleslaw the first time, you shoulda never put that blatant hint on how to get through the lost seas at the end of Classic Level 9. >_>

Because that's really the happening.

Sooooooo... yeah. That's my 2 cents on this.

In other news, I've been updating the first post of my thread!

And I'm thinking of making a brand new schedule when it starts to get dark outside much earlier!

In all fairness, and I'll drop my argument afterwords. I thought the Classic Levels would be much harder with the limited key system. I never personally tested the classic levels myself, because they were already in the quest, I just simply decided not to waste the pre existing maps. Though they were bug tested by other people, I was under the impression they were a lot more difficult than they were. I guess I stand corrected.
