I really like it, Moo2wo!
Can't complain about anything, meaning it's perfect!
I can't wait for what you're making to come out! icon_biggrin.gif

Edit - My finished map!

What do you guys think? Ignore the ugliness around it xD It was fun to make.

That looks pretty good man! This looks like the best map I've ever seen from you! I don't really see any errors besides the 3 rocks against the pine tree near the top. Mistake? Also, a question, where do you exit the village?

You exit town from the upmost cave icon_smile.gif
Edit - Fixed that big tree error, how did I forget to add that layer? icon_xd.gif

Link patiently awaits his chance to shoot down that Moblin, but he's becoming distracted by the new, brighter colors on that Blue Octorock...

That's probably my favorite screen from your Hyrule field. I like how everything here plays together. Also, your quest is taking a very nice direction from the looks of the screenshots. Other than that: My moblin = win icon_awesome.gif ...nah, actually not. I remember I started one that had the proportians of the BS-moblins but was styled after the tMC-moblins. I just never finished it. :/
About the subscreen: Have you tried showing the ammunation icons in two short lists next to each other rather than in one long list? I looks kinda a funky how they cross over the "border" of the stone tablet. But I'm not sure here.

Not bad, Lynker! My only real complaint is those two nearly identical houses being so close. I understand there's only so many houses to choose from, but having the same house one or two screens away is a tad redundant. I'd recommend using the log cabin, maybe with a different color door...frame...thing. Other than that and a few grass errors, it turned out quite well! Nice job!

Thank you, Rem! And are you talking about the big tree houses?
I think i'll replace the one closer to the town with a MC log cabin icon_biggrin.gif

A treehouse...leading where?

Gotta find that sword! (Ignore the sword and forgotten overhead layer right now icon_razz.gif)

What do you guys think?

Looking pretty good lynker. We don't get to many interior shots. But those ones are nice. There are a few errors though. And the sideways bed...it doesn't really look all that good.

Thank you!
Yeah, the bed does look weird. Plus, it's just a small child's treehouse...that leads to a wooden sword (Oops! icon_razz.gif)

By the way, that Ocarina is going to be used for....*drumroll* Epona!

In case it gets buried in my QPF, I'm taking the Robin approach and posting it here too.

Unleashed your criticisms now. I do have a few questions though. First, I know I'm using the mountains wrong, but not sure how to fix it. Can someone help me there. Second, can somebody suggest a good palette to use?

Russ love the layout in general the detail is on a perfect scale but never was too keen on the water in DoR but it doesn't concern me that much icon_smile.gif.

IPB Image

Keep note that I've been inspired by EoA's field area and LA's too. I decided to have two colors per area just to keep it simple. I decided to always in most areas use green. In the fields I've chosen blue as it's secondary color. Comments?

Russ: I like the layout, kinda looks like a lake Hylia kind of shot. But, the palette isn't doing it for me. It just looks a little boring with that palette.

I like it, but there are a couple things I'd change.

1) The bottom layer of mountain is a tiny bit square. Nothing too big, though.
2) The top right patch of trees; you have them set up diagonally, which I don't think looks very good.

@MK: I don't like the way the mushrooms are all clumped in the top left; I, honestly, wouldn't use them in a field area, but if you must at least spread them out. I like the atmosphere it's giving off though. Nice work!
