Also, in my reorganizing of the subscreen, I have room for three more usable items. I'll be hunting for things to shove into those slots next.

Prehaps you can test out the Spreadshot I just submitted to the database. Simple and easy to impelent (unless you decide to use it as a spell and not a regular item, which has one extra step involved).

Anyway, I haven't touched ZC today, but I am planning what I'm going to do the underground cave system in TLKDX. Hopefully the demo will be released on the 4th 3rd of July .

Not quite as complete as I want- a little more background toying and a custom selector to do yet. The circles in the middle of the page will eventually be important. Anyone know how to draw a combo or moving 2x2 sprite on the subscreen that I can make translucent?
I might just use your Spreadshot- as a spell, even. It would still take up a slot in the inventory. I'm also taking a look at the Dominion Rod.

I didnt do anything today (using the laptop, which doesnt have ZC installed in it), but through the week i have been working on my quest's intro, since level 3 is mostly done.

Made tons of screens today, yesterday and Thursday. I got my ZC fire back.

Today, I got through a lot in A New Dawn made by Sigtau's brother. It's so fun! I've already played for like 5 hours. It just might be the first quest I finish, like, ever!

Also, I started my first dungeon area/second overworld. If you want to know, it's a swamp. Now, I go search music for the place!

Edit - Got music! Fits nicely.
I also got the script for when you get an item, it plays a message! It's very nice, and so easy!
Next up, the signpost script!

Finished another dungeon/temple. Nothing special about this one (yet). A couple of puzzles, a piece of heart, a miniboss fight for the boss key. No custom boss (yet). Okay, so not quite finished...
I incorporated the bomb arrow script into my game. Instead of a new equip item, it's a warrior scroll. Once you get the Scroll, just equip the bombs in one slot and the bow and arrow in the other- you get bomb arrows when you fire (as long as you have the bombs and arrows to spare)! I'm up to nine working scrolls now. Now to tackle the 'downward stab'!
Found an error in an FFC script that, when executed, stopped all other scripts from working. That's problematic, so out it went.
Starting thinking about my next Zquest project. Has anyone done a TRON-based quest?

I actually made a quest years ago (v. 1.82 I think) called "The Broken Link". Sadly, I don't even have a copy of it any more. After that one, I tried to make the quest I'm doing now, but found it impossible with the (then) current build.
I came back from a long hiatus when I learned that scripting was now possible. I jumped over here to PureZC because Armageddongames.net seemed kinda... dead. So, I've been around for a while, just not very active.
Oops, off-topic! Uhhh... I added a new item to the list of random drops from enemies and tall grass: the Rupoor! Negative ten rupees, anyone?

*EDIT* PS- I was just checking old email stuff... wow, my quest "The Broken Link" is older than I thought... I have people asking questions about it dated back to December 2001!

I just finished some screens, and fixed up a few others. They look really nice!

well shortly after Canceling Link's quest dx
I had a new ideal for a new quest it will use the new 2.5 classic tiles
and stuff. and it will have 5 sideview dungeons
it will kinda be like zelda II
Started work on my overworld today
built a new subscreen
and put a lot midi's in my quest
thats all

Best quest ever

Today I officially started working on my quest the last time I touched it was when I was setting out my map for my Village and houses. I've so far completed one screen (and that screen is Link's house .)

well today I'm working on my 1st town
and came up with a new way for player's to develop Link

By adding a shop in each town called the Level up shop
you can buy HC pieces and magic upgrades
instead of you finding them all over the place
Changing some monsters drop item to rupees
Since rupees are going to be EXP
to be used to Level up
Oh and finished building my new subscreen also
oh and making the towns in sideview type look
And thats all.
