Need help to find level 4, I got a clue about some pond in air hyrule, been around the clouds, and couldn't find any pond

You probably figured it out by now, but...

Level 4 is in Earth Hyrule. There's a warp from Air to Earth one screen left from the very first warp where you enter Air Hyrule - if you head left from Level 1, go three screens, down 1, left 1, and climb down the vine. Head down and you'll see the pool. If you have the Flippers you can swim across it and reach the warp to Earth Hyrule. It's in the far upper right corner, past a maze on the overworld.

You need the Bait (it looks like a dragonhead in this Quest.) Several shops in western Earth Hyrule sell it for 90 rupees (there's a shop one screen west of Level 2 - a giant tree you can walk into - from Level 2, walk up 1 screen, 1 left, and 1 down, and you're there.)

Go back to Dragonskeep and use the Bait (or Dragon Badge, or whatever) in that room and she'll disappear like a hungry moblin.

I'm stuck in level 1. Been through every room but can't find the boss key.

Anyone remember this game?  I've beaten Levels 1 and 2, I'm looking for Level 3.  The overworld is huge, confusing, and kind of ridiculous.  I'm in this area where I go all over these cloud screens and there's a warp on literally every screen.  I'm ready to ragequit.  Does this get any better?  Can anyone point me in the right direction and tell me if and why I should stick this out?  The first two levels have been fairly well designed but the game needs to give a little more direction on where the hell to go.

Hero of Elements.  It's obvious a ton of effort went into this and I want to like it but I feel like I'm adrift in a vast ocean.  There are four parallel overworlds and almost no direction on what I should even be looking for at this point.  I need to find Level 3 and I think I need the arrows.  I've been wandering for hours.

After carefully reviewing some older posts, thinking through some things, and finally figuring out what was meant by "the earth/water warp on top of the hill with the vines" I'm happy to say I'm back on my way and am in Level 3.

when you get the water medal" ... that's it, the game is yours to do whatever you want ,, sorry couldn't post earlier... I just made to level three and saved in there (if you get stuck there after..I may help) good luck

I actually beat Levels 9 and 10 tonight.  I'm cruising!  I need to hopefully find a better sword and hopefully the red tunic soon.  I'm still rocking the L2 sword and tunic and the going is getting tougher.

A hint tell the super sword is on a castle a the town (starting-point), but need the magic fire to open it, guess the wand is at level seven ,, any idea how to make  there?? thanks;;;
