I'm stuck in Lorenzo's mines. I have the candle and stepladder and keep running into randomly disappearing skulls and shutters that won't open. Can I have a hint?

EDIT: Great quest by the way! icon_biggrin.gif

Great quest, Freedom! icon_clap.gif icon_clap.gif icon_clap.gif
Even though it was Queen Elise's Birthday, I felt like it was my present! Here's a few comments:
- Even though you thought Roc's feather was a pain, the hovering Link was awesome. I felt as if I were floating, too.
- I'm sure there's a science to the warp destinations, but I never figured out any except one. A lot of hit and miss.
- Music was great, especially Inish free and the passages. Some pieces were appropriately peaceful, and some were energizing.
- Once we got more stuff, things were definitely easier. This made the first 3 levels more challenging with fighting. Then later the mental challenges became more prominent. The place where difficulties met was level 3. It was the most challenging for me.
- Loved the different lands and the varying moods they possessed.

Thanks, again for your labor of love, Freedom. Can't wait for the next one! And thank you Elise for your tireless help (and birthday)!

This a great news, I'm glad you finished and enjoyed it, and the Queen is glad you saved her from the bad guys ;O)
Congratulations

Do these trees have any significance? The grey outline makes me feel like I should be memorizing their locations for some reason... Also, I've noticed those tree overhangs that kept getting me lost in Link to Tortuga... do any of them have hidden invisible pathways under them?

EDIT: I swear, Freedom, these seemingly randomly placed secret combo triggers will be the death of me... Boomeranging a flame? Really?

EDIT EDIT: BOMBING A TREE!?!? That reaches a new level of Nintendo logic... although it's been very confusing, I love this quest so far! Great job!

I don't think so this time

Blame the Queen, I ask her several times if it was over the top, she said it was fine.
I can see blowing out a torch with the boomer, but questioned if anyone else would. ;O)

Can someone direct to the Dead Hills, please? I spent so much time in level 3 that now I don't remember where they are.

I have the boots from the Dead Hills and now I am looking for level 4. I think it might be in Inishfree, but there are a few screens on the far right side of the map that I can't access. Please help.

If you're in Inishfree you went to far.
Back to headhunter and instead of rafting walk down acrossed the bridge then walk up until you see the drummer again and go right

Sorry for all of the questions but...

In level 4, I have the glove, silver arrow and have beaten the boss but:
1. The room in middle section of the basement with the chest surrounded by I's. I don't know how to "drop in from the room above" to get in and open the chest. I tried falling in from the main floor, but don't see any way to open a hole in this area.

2. In the top left section of the basement there is one room I can't access (in the top right corner of this section). This room would lead me down and left to get a key that I can see. I suppose this would help me open the other chest surrounded by I's that I don't know how to open, either.

Thanks for your help. Please p.m. me if you want to keep this a secret.

bomb to the right in the room above the key, and above Izlo (in the green, the wizard)
to drop to the chests bomb the floor where it's cracked

I'm in Level 4 now. I got to the first portal room which led to the left side of the dungeon. I saw the gloves in that tunnel, but I can't find the place to drop down on them. I have found one key, but no locked doors to use it on.

Thanks in advance for your help. icon_smile.gif

EDIT: Never mind, I wasn't whistling in the right spot.

EDIT 2: How in the world does one get to this chest? I tried pushing every block in this room and below, as well as bombing every part of the floor I could think of in the corresponding rooms upstairs.
