Oh and the swamp... Ninelives, go south to exit the village and then go west to get to the Dasa Woods. Explore through dasa Woods and there, you're at the swamp!

ARh, im also stuck in level one. I dunno what to do.
I explored almost all the outside parts of level one, (not the waters) and the only problem I think I have is that I can't go downstairs.

That's a landing room from warps later on in the dungeon.

Also, to get down the stairs, you need to lower the water level. You need to find the water level control room, which is left, up, right, up, and in that location. You need to be observant of your surroundings, and maybe you can find a weak spot in the wall that crumbles to bombs.

That room is just where you go when you use a warp in the level.

Ninelives, that room is just a warp destination room... nothing to do there.

You cannot get downstairs because downstairs is filled with water and Link cannot dive.

I got as far as.... the second stairs downstairs and, getting the hidden bomb in a room above the stairs.

How exactly do you make any sort of progress in Level 2? I know something about a sign being brave about getting into the dark and falling in. But that's it. I also bombed into the dark room that gives you bombs.

Deathbringer, when you are starting on Lv2, from the entrance head south to the big garden maze area. try to figure your way through it to get to a warp portal. That warp portal should take you near to the screen with the small hole in middle and some blocks in the way preventing Link jumping down. On that screen, fire an arrow at the crystal switch and return to the entrance screen and go one screen north to jump down...

Ok, Level 1 still, I found a big blue chest but I don't have a key/boss key.
How can I open the chest?

Yeah, that was what I did. While adventuring down there on an over/under bridge, I managed to get into the black abyss of doom while it was shifting position. Ain't no biggie though. Just walk down.

You have to go back to the first floor. Drain it, but then walk across to the far left of the floor, then go down. There should be a undrained pit. Climb down it, and then slash at the vines.
