Ehh, I found Marth much easier to use. He's much faster, and he uses a Falchion. Roy's power lies in the center of his blade. Though Roy is a bit stronger than Marth.

EVen that isn't really true. Roy has less knockback as well nas causins as much damage. It's been proved many times before. marth does more damage in every move besides Flare and the thing that counter acts moves. Marths last longer though.

It's possibly due to either the graphics they gave him, or the fact that he's fighting, .. well, .. everybody in those screenshots. icon_razz.gif In SSBM, he was just a boss. Here, he's a terror of the tournament; An enemy of the engagement; An Adversary or the all-time fight. Makes a difference. icon_razz.gif

OH SWEET!!!! GIGA BOWSER RETURNS!!! icon_w00t.gif icon_w00t.gif icon_w00t.gif icon_w00t.gif icon_w00t.gif

And you get to control him for a short period of time, as well! That alone makes Brawl better than Melee, right there! icon_biggrin.gif

Meh. I have mixed feelings on this. It is pretty cool to be near invincible and huge enough to stomp people, but my bet is that we're going to see that it was overrated beforehand. Link's Final Smash, on the other hand... that's coolness right there.

Overratedness is overrated. I'd rather be happy at what I see rather than call something overrated. I mean, really.
I wish people would stop using that darn word. It makes my ears bleed. I must hear that word for just about every game in existence.

Today's update was a bit of a letdown. I expected it to be something like a stage, But instead it's how to attack.

I hope tomorrow's and next weeks'll be good, Beause we're not getting any really BIG updates as such.
And Animus: I agree.

I beg to differ, we got 2 new characters recently; Zelda and Bowser. I think these update things are so awesome.

I didn't really think those updates were that brilliant (personally), as I assumed they would be in as they were both characters with original movesets and were both in SSBM.

I wonder if the Event Matches are coming back to Super Smash Bros. Brawl?

I sure do hope so. I really enjoyed those matches. I say they should return, and have at least 100 of them! icon_w00t.gif

I'm kind of worried about this game. Like if they will remove a character that I really liked or if the character roster has a lot of not-very-cool people (like last game they had Mr. Game and Watch and Ice Climbers. They could have done better than them). Also if they change the controls from Melee so much that it's hard to adjust to Brawl (although since they are allowing a Gamecube controller, it can't be much different).
As to having 100 event matches, remember that for evey thing that they put in that game is something else that they can't. This game is becoming huge, and if it becomes too big there might not be room for anything else (you caan interperet that any way you want). Event matches were cool, but 100 of them? That's kind of a lot.

So it'll just be held like when playing Super Paper Mario, I assume. I wonder how well that would work...
