Hey, I just started test playing this quest today to LP for the near future.  One problem.....can't find Level 1 for the life of me.  

Could someone point me in the right direction?  x.x;

It's regarding Level 7 and you all will know when you encounter the glitch.  (Trust me, I know....I ran smack into it and told Runa on Discord, lol)

Just save and wait for the fix!

The quest has now been fixed! Here's the full details of the patch:

- fixed lots of graphical errors (undercombos missing, tile errors, layering issues)
- changed the game over music
- fixed partially solid tiles on screen edges causing possible softlocks on some screens
- nerfed some rooms in later dungeons (nasty wizzrobe rooms)
- changed how the ring/heart system works slightly visually
- made the Wand Upgrade room actually require the Wand (woopsie lol)
- (hopefully) fixed a save-ruining script issue in Level 7
- nerfed the miniboss of Level 8
-nerfed the boss of Level 3
- nerfed the boss of Level 2
- made Level 5's start flow better by making the staircase stay there permanently
- made the jinx ring actually useful

Beat the game!  Very nicely done with the whole quest. (Overworld & Dungeon Designs, Music Choices, Custom Bosses and Puzzles all thumbs up)

 

Right now I'm pre-recording Nestastic for Jan 2025.  (After I'll do this quest!  Definitely want to do this one ASAP.)

Gonna try to push out another minor update at some point, I goofed again with the wand upgrades, so need to rework the system regarding them slightly.

tryna find level 7 but I can't seem to. I'm suspecting it needs the Ocarina/Flute but I can't find that either. Can you point me in the right direction?

A hint in the game tells you where to find it:

"Call upon the wind amidst the 3-Eye Rock" Level 1 should contain the Whistle equivalent of the quest

This might be a stupid question. How do I use the candle?

The lantern? The lantern is passive, and makes the light radius around you slightly bigger in dark rooms You will get a different item that is more like the Z1 candle.

Ok, I was hoping to burn bushies, guess that comes later. Also looking for some kind of shield.

Shield can be bought from shops! It's the blue orb item.
