A year ago, my quest, Steveamentus, went on hiatus due to a lack of motivation. In the end, I felt it was too ambitious and unfocused, and resigned never to tell Steve's story.

But today, I'm happy to say that's all changed! Feeling inspired, I set out to create something even better than my original plan. A quest truly worthy of my skills, with a revamped story and several awesome scripts to craft a truly unique experience.

And now that experience is yours to have. The quest isn't in a demo or beta stage, but fully complete! Why not give a shot to Steveamentus Universe, the quest a year in the making?

So far no players have managed to complete it, so maybe you'll be the first. If you need help or have questions, just speak up here. Just try not to spoil the plot twists for others. Also be aware that the quest screenshots contain spoilers.

Stuck on loop 17. I just have no idea how to beat it no matter how hard I try. I figured it has something to do with the three fireballs but I tried running into them and that didn't work. And then there's the sword...A real puzzle here.

Really cool quest, Aevin.

You've shown yourself to be a master storyteller yet again, Aevin. Epic in scale, yet with an undeniably personal touch, the story of Steve is a stunning reflection on what it means to be human. The gameplay is masterfully woven into the narrative, unintrusive and yet inseparable.

Really, though, my thoughts can be summed up in one word.

I'm glad you liked it, Lejes! It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm glad to see that at least someone appreciates the effort I put into the story.

Moosh: I feel like it's a cumulative thing. Try to apply the skills you learned up to now, and I have a feeling you'll get through it. But if it truly proves too much and you'd like to see the rest of the game, I could probably send you the cheat ...

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it! I've never claimed anything I produce is high art, but there's a little more to this than meets the eye. ;)

Anyways, I know I've told you before Aevin, but this quest is a literary masterpiece. The gameplay falls a little flat at times, but the plot twists threw me for a loop in a way ZC stories haven't managed to do before. Definitely one of your best works, though I'm a bit torn as to whether or not it tops Hitodama. Regardless, you outdid yourself.

My only complaint with the story is that it doesn't make sense, the introduction at least. OK hear me out but if it's Steve's dream to slay the beast, then why does he have to find a weapon? I think it's a tad unrealistic of the character to not have been prepared if all his life he had longed for this day. That leads me to another thing: a weapon that can slay the beast is in its own lair. Either that beast wants to be slayed or the beast has zero common sense... or the story started off a bit unfleshed but got really professional and profound towards the end. I'm not saying it's bad but the intro seems to be a bit of sluggish start in terms of quality. :(

Overrall, I would give this so far a 4.99/5. The intro is only a minor factor compared to the rest.

Man, took quite a while to get past the first room. The 4-way movement really gets you and getting through those statues is really intense. Thank god I managed to get that sword before approaching Room 2.

Fantastic quest so far. Looking forward to seeing what's next...

After actually playing the quest I am speechless. It's almost like a metaphor for life. HELP.

As you can see, the score goes out of bounds.

I'm feeling the same, there was this moment during it where I was thinking, "Wait, is there actually an artistic message to this?" "What does it mean?" "Is it talking about ME?" "Is this pulling an Undertale?" and it was really making we wonder if there was actually something under all this repetition.
