Well, I've decided that I'm going to release Shamanock Advance ahead of time. Just give me your thoughts and impressions on this quest. Also, need help? Have complaints? I would love to hear some feed back.

Good quest so far.

 

I found two rooms that just have a guy in them and nothing else. Is this a bug?

Is this passageway one way. I can't go up the ladder. Also looking for the boss key in level 2.

A remake is suppose to fix all the main problems of the original game, not add more of them.

Well, I'm planning to release some updates later on. Don't expect it to be the final version.

This may not be perfect. But all I can say it that it's much better than the other 2 Shamanock games... I wouldn't go too far calling it worse than Shamanock dx.

I did play test it, and so did Joe_Cracker. there should be no game breaking bug, or at least I hope not.

WELL YOU THOUGHT WRONG.

This is what happens when you F6 in Shakara Woods. Luckily, with some Feather abuse, it can be escaped., though, not so much without the feather. If you lack the feather, you're screwed.

 

Anyways, I've beaten levels 2 and 3, and currently dealing with 4. 2 seems to be the turning point for the quest. the most effort seems to have put into it, and it's my favorite dungeon so far.

Wait... I don't think you F6, when I tried it, Link respawns normally...

what did you exactly do?

Oh, now I see, you used Farore's wind, the glitchist item in the world. I should probably fix that.

well, what happens is I F6 after warping from a DMap to the Shakara Woods DMap, and it warps me to the neutral area. Entering the area from a scrolling warp doesn't cause this to happen.

To be honest, the beginning is probably the only one that's not good. Mainly because of warp problems... but ever since I started on this quest, I really evolved a lot in making 16-bit quests. It only gets better as you move along. I hope you'll like it at the end.

This is such a great quest for speed running! I've gotten to the dark world in 35:43. Any one able to beat that?!? I challenge thee!

There are also many possible dungeon orders.
