So you don't anticipate any quest at all, given the fact that all quests have a chance of not getting completed, scraped and put on hiatus? That doesn't make any sense. :P

I don't anticipate quests. I play them as they go. You can say that I am over the whole hype for pretty much anything (not just limited to quests) at this point.

I can understand this to a point. But surely there is a Quest Project out there you've enjoyed more then the others right? If you had to pick a Favorite. What would it be?

Looking forward to the demo. :)

Don't tempt me; I may actually make it.

I believe all quest projects have a future, even the ones that are scrapped. I've learned that some quest designers have a tendency to abandon projects, and than return to them without notice.

As long as a quest project has some investment put into them, the guilt of abandoning a quest seems to always be on the back of a quest designer's mind.

I know they go on the back of my mind, take Souls 2 for instance.

I can confirm this. Look how many times I've cancelled Zelda's Awakening, Yet I always come back to it with a vengence out of guilt.

Don't worry guys. People who treat ZC seriously will never get to enjoy ZC as much as we do. Don't focus on completing it; focus on having fun with it. It'll end up being a more quality product than products that focused purely on completion, even if the former is left unfinished. Why? Because the enjoyment from developing it will be shown clearly, expressing truly why ZC exists in the first place.

I enjoy anticipating quests, I give them full support and encouragement. Some do end up getting cancelled and I do get a little disappointed, but that's a natural reaction, it's not the creator pulling my strings. I can understand that not everyone has the time, patience, and conscious and as long as they had fun with the project, I'm OK with it being cancelled. I move on with no regrets of supporting the project. I don't say "I told you so" and give them doubt and discouragement on their next try. That's you trying to stop their fun and completion.

Truth of the matter is, every quest has a chance of being completed, scrapped, delayed, remade, etc. So don't let silly people say stuff about your project and have the last laugh; have fun with it! :)

I half agree.

But I will be the first to say that completing a quest means the fun of making it is over. That's why I'm in no rush to release my current projects, the longer it is a "project" the more I can enjoy it being exactly just that, actually releasing these quests either means starting over again, or retiring, and neither of those sound appealing to me right now.

Golden Memories, Fairy Dream, Solaris, Relic of the Past, Souls of Wisdom 2 and The Chapters of Enova.
If your quest isn't on this list, that doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to it, nor does it mean I don't support it :)

No answer. You see I'm starting to find more enjoyment when blindly approaching a game without anticipating it through hype. I like to be curious and surprised at what the game offers. I believe this approach adds more thrill to the game and allows me to develop a new perception of it. A perception that's different than how the game is perceived through hype. You can say I develop hype when playing though the game rather than waiting for it.
