Vitreous. No real interesting attacks sans his lightning blast and his second phase is a total joke. EDIT: Also the third eyeball boss in the game.


Really now? I always thought he was an interesting boss, and he was on my own list of bosses that I wanted to recreate in ZC, admittedly because his pattern wasn't too complex. We could certainly use a definitive set ofball the Z3 bosses, and of course, I'll need to reproduce the Gameboy bosses for that package, which I do not look foreward to making.

You'll need to send me a video of how you changed him up though, as knowing you, the eyeballs turn into patra orbiters that all shoot bolts of lightning, and explode into fireworks butterflies, before turning inside out and vomiting rainbow death. :D

Only thing Viterous does is hit like a truck (4 hearts with no tunic upgrades, 3 with Blue and 2 with Red). So much wasted potential there. Then again, all of ALttP's bosses are a joke in my opinion, despite all of them doing a bit too much damage per hit. The only one I consider decently tough is Mothula, and only because of the fact you have a moving floor, spikes and it to dodge at all once. The rest are easy with Moldorm just being annoying as even to this day, I STILL get knocked down a few times before having a successful fight. I can't begin to imagine your upgrade to an otherwise bland boss that does a crap-ton of damage as its only means of "difficulty".

I finished up a dungeon, started another dungeon, and planned a future dungeon.

   That's what I always say it doesn't matter how much damage enemies do if their attacks are easy to dodge. Who cares if an enemy does 70 hearts of damage when 0 hits still means 0 damage? Difficulty comes from engaging combat not high attack stats (RPGs not included).

 

   Anyway today I got MC sized Armos working 95.5% perfectly :) I also got more item sprites done and set up spinning pots and skulls.

   EDIT: And a large Gibdo.

Dungeon is 45% complete. I finished majority of the first floor and am pretty pleased with the general layout and flow.

Massive LttP enemy scripting spree. Ropas, Hinoxes, SnapDragons, Lynels, Taros, Ghinis, and Crows all done and working very similar to how they do in LttP.

Created the base layout for my second dungein. Still got a lot of work to designwise and puzzlewise, but it's definitely nice to have a base to work with.

Made some MC-style Dodongo Snakes for ZC (BS Zelda Dodongo) because I couldn't imagine what MC Dodongos would even look like (but I've got some good ideas now). You probably remember these enemies from Link's Awakening.
