EatinCake. That pub interior owns. At least it own Prince MSC, who made a bland design with great tiles. And Relic... that screen is very nice, but doesn't feel as nice as that nice pub... "The pubbiest pub ever!"

I don't think PrinceMSC's design is bland, although it's nothing special. It's the water that really got me... so beautiful... icon_smile.gif

I voted for Relic this time.
I would've voted for Pince's shot but when you come to think of it, it's kinda bland.
Sorry Prince icon_cry.gif

I gotta go with Relic on this one. Interesting screen design with a pleasing palette. Great job.

If it hadn't been for actual gameplay necessities (the guy he is talking to was going to give info towards where to find the thieves hideout) the screen would probably be more crowded, but I tried my best to make it still look fairly cluttered with interesting chaps scattered here and there. To bad I never submitted the version with the transparent layer with musical notes and light actually coming through the window. Also, no ones going to get the reference, but I tried my best to make a "green fairy" (think Moulin Rouge) in a drunken state in the corner there.

I guess it call comes down to, do you like a screen that is both eye pleasing and has graphics working together, or do you like an seemingly chaotic organized in a blast of randomness and action taking place.

EatinCake: What ever happened to that quest of yours? Did it go corrupt or did you just lose interest?

Worse, hard drive died. When they released the Mac beta I spent a good while re-ripping my graphic from shots I posted in the Screenshot thread, though I couldn't get the screenshots from the Mac Quest to save to a folder I could reach, and the Mac betas have stopped working (someone going to figure out why?).

I've been considering sending in all these ripped tiles, but I don't feel theres enough value to them quite yet.

Even worse, it died just as I was working on the Library Dungeon, which I did custom graphic for, but the only shot I ever took of those I posted in chat, so it's long gone. I was looking forward to working on this one to icon_frown.gif.
