Retirement

Well, the time has finally come. Back when I first became an administrator here at this site, I never dreamed I'd give up my position. It was such a great experience... such an honor that I, of all people, was chosen to help run a website. Back in those days, PureZC was a small, budding community. You could count the number of active posters with your fingers. When I stand back today and really look at what this site has become, I can only think, "Wow." PureZC has grown so much in so little time. It really is amazing.

Nevertheless, the time has come. I need to let go.

It's no secret that I have been gone for some time now. People who frequent #PureZC may have noticed my occasional visits in recent weeks, but for a long time now, I haven't been an active participant at this board. I suppose I could blame that on my school work. But really, I've had opportunities to come take part in discussions and basically be active. But I haven't. I hate to be the administrator who does nothing, yet uses his rank for power, privilege, and respect. And as much as I'd like to stay, a part of me would also like to move on. Please, don't misunderstand me here. I really love PureZC. I have wonderful memories here, and I've made great friends who have been nothing but kind to me. I just feel... it's time to move on.

Wild Bill: I am extremely thankful for the opportunity you've given to me. This experience has been invaluable. Not only have you been a great webmaster here at PureZC, but you've also been a fine leader and a good friend. It's been an honor to work here. I hope your site only continues to grow and prosper.

Now, I'm not leaving altogether. I'll still hang around. Maybe not as much as I used to be back in the day, but I'll drop by when I can. I can't completely abandon this site, now can I?

Anyway, thanks, everybody. It's been a blast.

I dont know you well but most people say you're kind I hope your life will be a good one, we will all miss you.

Hey Fox. It totally sucks to see you go, but I really do understand why you are doing so. I hope things go smoothly for you over the span of your life, and you see all that you want. I am glad to hear that you will still visit the site on occasion. Well, I can't really think of much else to say right now besides, best of luck to you, and all that you do.

Bye Fox. You will definitely be remembered. You've really helped this forum out a bunch, and all of the members thank you for sticking around so PureZC could be what it is today.

But, whatever you do, remember to have fun!

I sort of foresaw this event. Your departion is completely understandable, but remember that WE will remember who you were and your endeavors to make PureZC a better place.

Well, for some reason I woke up this morning and felt the need to some on PZC... I found out why, meh. Still, that was very responsible and a great decision on your part Fox, giving up Admin because you knew you wouldn't be able to truly use it to help PZC. Well, at least you have the pretty Retired Staff group status now.

Sad to see you go Fox. Hope that your future goes well and stuff.
