The tileset of Zero quest. Works best if your quest stars the original Link.

Yeah, it is finally here. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing for you but yeah. This is the set that is used in my classic styled quest, Zelda-TD, which I must say will probably never see completion...

Before I go any further, I'd like to say, yeah this set ain't pretty, but it ain't supposed to be (Uh, NES anybody?). This quest will probably never be finished, so this set will probably remain as is, but on the off chance that I get back into this quest, I will probably update the set [View Full Description]

This was made in 2.55, alpha 78. But considering it's just a version of the default tileset with no scripts, it probably will work in other versions.

A lot of tiles frequent this set. This one comprises of very unusual, but cool looking tiles, from mountain tiles, to two different sets of cave tiles, each with a normal, volcanic, or icy color set and tiles to accomodate each, to weird cave and temple interiors. It also has a slightly enhanced swamp set of tiles, including a nice little dragonfly flying around.

I was inspired by http://www.duelingan...that-never-was/ to make a Classic tileset using the entire NES palette, to see just how far it could be stretched.

There's no real documentation for this, and it's mostly unfinished. The best use for it really is to get various tiles and to possibly combine it with the FF classic spritesheet to make an FFKR-like quest.

It is indeed an honor to have my humble tileset placed here. I began working on this in August as some sort of test field for the old Mystic Land Tileset, but I got obsessed with it, and began to rip other tiles, draw my own, and create ideas. This began to roll into a giant ball of creativity, and suddenly I find myself with this massive tileset. A lot of tiles I made myself, and a lot of them I copied and changed, and I ripped a lot of tiles near the end.

I ripped tiles from Megaman 6 for [View Full Description]
The New Classic Set by Ben
Updated: 22 Mar 2017 Posted: 16 Mar 2004 ZC Version: ZC 1.92 B182 Rating[?]: Rating: 4.5/5 (23 ratings) Information:
It originally started with the classic set with some edited palletes and cutom tiles. Eventually, some Newfirst and BS-style graphics found their way in. It's all recolored and everything.

The problem is - it's VERY VERY disorganized. Sorry.

Note: those screenshots are a bit...old, so they may not match the tileset exactly.

The first and final release of tcol's set. As it says in the heading, this is an incomplete set, and you'll probably have to end up adding more tiles in order for a complete quest to be made.

Ever liked the gameboy tiles but not the gameboy palettes? I did, so I started with this alteration years ago for some of my quests. Over the years, I've refined the tileset, compiling released tiles and adding some custom ones of my own.

Most of the tiles from SD3.
Some tiles may look out of place such as tiles from other games but these tiles were used in my quest.

I can describe this tileset in 1 word: Terrible.

Out of boredom one day (how often do I say that?) I started a simple, 3 triforce peice quest with a classic style, but a custom tileset. I didn't even finish the first dungeon and again, scrapped the project. The tileset has been sitting around in my ZC folder for a while, there was no hope of ever finishing it, and it's my only tileset to date that uses 4-bit palettes and would be accepted... I submitted it.

This is a very simple tileset [View Full Description]
