I like this tileset a lot. PTUX will always be my favorite, and I am not a big fan of DoR (though I think the amount of effort that went into DoR is amazing, I don't want to sound like a hater)... I agree this set has some bad organization issues, but I personally never feel bothered by that, I can always re-organize them myself if I must.
Not everyone will like this tileset. But I do. My recommendation to aspiring Quest authors who are interested in this set: give it a look, and if it's too much to take in, try PTUX or DoR and use this as a ripping source. My recommendation to experts: there is nothing too bad about having to re-organize it yourself, especially since you'll only have to do it once. (And it's not *nearly* as tedious as designing even ONE good custom boss in your quest the old fashioned, scriptless way! )

This tileset is essentially an amalgamation of EVERYTHING in both DoR and PTUX, with many assorted other tiles thrown in. That is its primary problem. It tries too hard to include every single possible tile EVERYONE would ever need... and sacrifices good organization, conciseness and consistency to achieve that goal.
What the original Pure Tileset v2 had going for it was a sense of restraint. It was careful to include nothing you wouldn't need, so if you had to find something in the combo pages, it was never a hassle. Pure v2 also happily invited you to rip in loose tiles to your heart's content. Pure Remembrance makes no such room.
Pure v2 was also graphically consistent. There are a lot of great palettes and tiles in Pure Remembrance. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of horrible palettes and tiles that look downright lurid or clashy together.
For ripping from, this tileset is good. It's impractical to actually build a quest with, however. Self-editing could have saved it.
