Honestly, I was expecting this to not be as good as the other Bored quests due to it being longer than the other, thus the game getting old fast. That said, I can safetly say I was wrong about that. Overall, this beats both of those quests, making this my perosnal favorite joke quest to come from joelmacool.

All 4 dungeons are fairly creative, with nicely flowing maps, and despite being a joke quest, there's actually quite a few nicely designed screens, putting the quest between the borders of joke quest and comedy quest, which I think is fairly interesting. The quest's difficulty isn't too bad, save for the Fierce temple, which would be a little too difficult if the player did that dungeon first. The rest of the dungeons I can understand being done in order.

Honestly, as much as I like this quest, there's still a few problems that come from this. Particularly, there's quite a few secrets that are a bit inconsistent, such as something that looks like a Fire Boomerang trigger being nontriggerable, etc.

In the end, I like this quest, and had fun playing it. a 4/5 from me, and I can't wait to see more of joelmacool's projects.

I was gonna give you two stars, but then the patra happened. This quest managed to actually give me a headache. Even for a terrible jokey thing it really outstayed its welcome at the end. At least it's better (?) than the first two Bored quests in that it's actually a quest with some trace amounts of effort put into it. Actuallybotheredreviewing/10

A rare Shoelace appears! I played the game today and was lucky enough to have joel in there, so a lot of my tips were on that stream. Hope that helps for your future quests.

This quest is a joke quest. Nothing wrong with that, but I wish there was effort in the joke quest. A joke quest can be quite good, but you want to make sure it is actually funny. You still want to make a good game when you make a joke quest. Polish, polish, polish. It goes a long way. You have to remember that people that play your game will remember the game and remember the amount of polish that went into the game, so it may hurt if you ever make more quests. I see that you are capable of making a good quest. The Snowglobe level was a taste on what you are able to do, but the rest of the quest was disappointing.

I like the idea of everything being glitched out but it just wasn't done in a funny manner or done for any reason. I could see a very cool ideas coming out of that theme... but nothing like that happened. Last comment, there are some screens that look like things can happen, like the lone cacti... however, there is nothing... just game design 101. I hope my commentary helped out!

The lake part was cool. I liked it a lot. You get to have some stars because of it. Stars are pretty and will give you good luck

This series is notable in that it almost completely mirrors the Live Action Transformers movies by Michael Bay. It appeals to a very small group of people, yet the majority have a seething disdain for it. Both series are ridden with design flaws, bugs (although in transformers the bug was a robot.), and nonsensical explosions. Unlike Transformers however, this game has gamestopping bugs and doesn't have Megan Fox's ass to try and get 14 year olds to go anyway. On the plus side, we don't have to tolerate Shia LaBeouf's "acting", but instead we are treated to 6-heart anti-hearts which is only marginally better.

That said, I cannot in good faith give this quest any higher than a 1.

It actually barely resembles an actual quest with some sort of structure, however it still relies on the same unfunny joke of senseless design and "glitched" enemy sprites. The lake area has some semblance of decent screen design, and I actually did enjoy the dungeon in that area, it was very short but it was creative and wasn't a pain to play. The rest of the quest is just kind of dull and generic when it's not being intentionally bad, and then there are actual legitimate issues: The "check" room doesn't let you leave, and you can break into other areas of the quest, even stealing a Triforce from a level; the multiple-headed Gleeoks heads are invisible after killing them, which is absolutely unfair; the anti-hearts are also unfair and way too common, and you can grab one with your sword by accident when attacking; also this thing exists. Oh, and the quest seems to advertise that you can go anywhere in any order, but that's a blatant lie, since you need the ladder from one of the dungeons to complete another dungeon.

The one star mostly comes from the fact that it's at least a completed quest and I enjoyed the lake dungeon. The rest of the quest is either too generic, unentertaining, or just bad.
