thank you for the updates i am putting in an updated version as we speak, be in mind this is the first one i have ever done, i never wanted it to be impossible or unplayable. that being said the difficulty will be raised for the second and possibly third if I go that far, I do have ever intention of making 4 complete different games making each one harder then the last.

and perhaps a change on the word extreme as an extreme journey thought multiple story lines, i learn by your comments i really do, the second one has just begun so feel free to email me so i can continue to make it better !

Just finished it and at first it felt a bit overwhelming with where to go next, but once you found the correct path to each level, the enemies seemed to scale decently. exploration is heavily rewarded, but if the player really wants to challenge themselves and put the title to the test, I would advise to keep hearts and items to a comfortable minimum.

It really isn't difficult at all. With a little exploration the White Sword is available before level 2. I am on my way to level 3 with 9 hearts, blue ring and a bunch of pretty good treasures. Too many hints to find bombable or walk thru walls in levels or in the overworld and using a full magic container when using the whistle is a pain but for a first quest I think it's really good.

From the quest's name alone, I understand that this is intended to be difficult.

I was not expecting to have to try to walk through a seemingly-mandatory screen of Blue Pols Voices and Stalfos 3s with nothing more than 4 hearts, the wooden sword, and a handful of bombs that I'm hesitant to waste. Other overworld screens aren't much better, with some notable cases being 10 Red/Blue Lynels with little room to move around, or a combined total of 10 Vires and Vire Tribbles.

If your goal is to overwhelm the player, you're already off to a great start, but I think I need to say:
"Difficult" and "Unfair" don't necessarily need to mean the same thing.
