Great quest!
Basically a mix of Zelda and Wario Land.
Looks beautiful, fun exploration, fun dialogues (I liked Sandwich store the most), easy puzzles.
Weirdest part is that all the easiest treasures (crown, shirt, etc) have hints in dialogues, while the hardest and the most missable ones (like Gameboy CD) have none.
Found all the treasures, found "secret" ending, took me about 3 hours to complete.

Description
This quest was initially made for the alsoLIONS 1 Week + 1 Day contest, but ended up taking nearly a month to develop. It's also the first real Firebird quest submitted to the database ever!
This is a miniquest with an 8x8 overworld, one large (also 8x8) dungeon, as well as all sorts of surprises and secrets.
This quest was made in the January 8 2024 nightly of ZC 2.55, and will play in that version or newer. It may or may not be playable in older versions!
This quest may not work in ZC 3.0! If you do use it in ZC 3.0, make sure you have set the optimize_zasm line in zc.cfg to 0 or use the latest 3.0 nightly version!
Update 1.1 (8/02/24) :

- fixed a bug where the lantern could only be used once an hour
- slight subscreen tweak
- visual bugs fixed (thanks shadowtiger!)
- shutter fixed in viking helmet treasure cave
- big boss fixed, will now respawn after you clear the quest each time
- other bugs
Story
You are a pirate apprentice, sailing the seas with your crew. However, one night, you are sent overboard by the captain, and end up washed up on the shores of Basilischi Island.
Will you be able to get home? Why is there a temple on the island? What exactly is the Enigma?

An enjoyable quest, designed as something of a mix between a collectathon & metroidvania - making for a rather novel Zelda experience. I managed to finish it in just a few hours, and I think its short length supports the design very well. I'd love to see a lot more short quests that were as polished and densely composed as this one. I also echo Colin's sentiments; the overall design of the quest could have potential for speedrunning as players try to acquire all the tools & treasures for a higher score by the end of it.
I also enjoyed the art direction & bits of humor scattered across the item descriptions. Much like jwex001, I'd also love to see more like this. The entire tileset is beautifully used.

I'd have to agree with Colin on this one. I have Beta tested a bit for Taco Chopper on another quest or two of his, and really like the look, feel, and difficulty of the quest. The only drawback I would give is with how quickly it starts up and gets you into the action, I would love to have seen more in the quest. But being how it was developed in only a month, I am even more amazed at the quality and mechanics this used in the quest. Whether it happens or not, I would love to see a prequel or sequel or extended version of this in the future, or a quest in a similar art and gameplay style. But for now, 5 stars...well done.

I beta tested this, so I have about 3 full clears of this so far.
It's a very nice mini quest. The screens are very pretty and the OW achieves the classic LoZ effect where you can just explore at your own pace and find treasure/items.
Overall I think it's quite fun. Also good speedrunning potential given the open-endedness of the dungeon.
