I love the clean and sunny vibe going on here, looks good! Maybe some seashells here and there could help sell the beach theme even more?

Very good jungle screen, and I like that little gold skulltula also. Just maybe the floor detailing is a little too varied?

 Yeah, that would work well. I noticed that the beach was a bit bare, but failed to figure out something to detail with. In DoR:H. Somehow. Noted (mentally) for the eventual revision.

 

 

Quick thoughts on the other screens:

 

Twilight Knight: It's hard to make a good town in DoR, and you seem to have succeeded completely. It reminds me of Link to Tortuga's beautiful towns. (I think? It's been years.)

 

Blackpaintbowser: Very pretty GBZ screen, and the flooding is a nice detail. Also, a quick detail, the top tree in the lower right might blend better with yellow ground.

I like the relative simplicity of this shot. It reinforces a sense of isolation. The colors are attractive and the animated water is a nice touch.

 

Twilight Knight

The shadows beneath the awnings add an impactful sense of depth. The contrasty textures of the walls and roofs complement the use of light elsewhere in the shot. My only critique is that the wooden crates don't match the art style of their surroundings very well in my opinion. Still, this is a beautiful shot.

 

Blackpaintbowser

The use of green makes this area feel very damp and swampy even without the rain in the foreground. Good use of detail throughout. The enemies help this screen feel alive.

 

A tough call, but I'm going to go Twilight Knight.

I voted for Zeron this week, it's a solid screen, and it reminds me of the dunes.

My only critique is that the wooden crates don't match the art style of their surroundings very well in my opinion. Still, this is a beautiful shot.

And I think you are right about those crates, I might need to add some more black outline to them or such. I will try it out, thanks for your comment!
