Whoops! Should've figured people would be doing spooky screenshots to suit the season. The next one I have planned even fits with that, I just didn't think about it. Oh well.
Nothing too fancy with mine beyond the big render of the hadoo. I've done a UT Battle screen before but not one with the menu options visible. Those use some pretty basic 1.92 smoke-and-mirrors for their handling and are honestly a little clunkier than we would like, but they do work consistently, which should hopefully be good enough. We'll have to see when the demo gets finished.
As for the others...
Alucard648 - The huge ghost sprite is great, and I actually like that it clashes a little with the environment. Really makes it stand out as something that's not supposed to be there which gives it a kind of "haunted video game creepypasta"-esque uncanny valley effect to it. I like the palette, too, and the kissing pumpkins on the left are very cute. Also, as a ghost myself, I'm biased. Voted here.
Shane - Very nice screen! I don't have a whole lot specific to point out but there's nothing bad at all I can say about it. I like the curtains.
Joelmacool - I like the green-and-purple combination, really sells the "diseased" vibe, and the rock tiles in the walls do a good job at conveying a kind of festering infection in the structure itself, which is cool.
...Damn, I really wish I had thought to do the other remaining prologue screen this week, it would've fit a lot better... bleh.
