Voted for Anthus again. I like the cleanness and readability of all of my competitors' screens here, but the layered detail of the pillars, ruined city skyline, moon, and night sky in Anthus's just looks really really nice without compromising that readability at all thanks to the bold outlines on the platforms. I am curious how it's 15 tiles tall though.

As for mine, this is another screen that Bikdip made and which I'm submitting with his permission. I'm told that the tiles aren't really intended to be used for gradual elevation changes like this, but I think in a lot of cases it works well enough. I'm less sure about the cliff edges. They technically read in a way that would be spatially possible, but they still look a little awkward even if I'm largely ued to them after being involved in the quest's development for so long at this point. I wonder how different it'd look if we made it today, since we have a little more experience with the tileset generally, though the later areas we've worked on thus far don't do anything quite as extensive as this field area.

It's a 3.0 thing, you can extend the screen size with regions and basically use the subscreen space. You can still have a subscreen like how LttP does it but there's no subscreen in my shot at all. This 'region' is two screen tall and Z3 scrolling is enabled.

All these shots are great, but Anthus’ work has been on another level.

Another fantastic turnout this week!

Anthus - Wow! This shot is amazing! I didn't even notice the tile height of the screen until it was pointed out. The lava looks amazing as does the background,

though I'm not sure exactly what it's supposed to be. I almost voted here, but two very minor things held me back. One, is the lava has an incredible

2 1/2 D perspective but the blocks Link is standing on are perfectly flat, causing a slight clash in perspectives. I think if the blocks were slightly angled too

with the 2 1/2 D it would look much sharper. Two is in the far right of the screen the lava spilling background is merging a bit with the foreground and it

looks slightly awkward. These are just small nitpicks though for what otherwise is a fantastic shot and something that looks really fun to play.

AutumnHaunted - This shot looks really cool and fun to play. I'm not always against open corners since they can give a sense of space and grandeur and

this shot certainly does that. The detailing is great too. The only thing is the aforementioned cliffs. They don't look bad per se, just a little awkward.

I can't really distinguish the perspective and I'm not sure what the intent was. Still an amazing shot.

Haylee - As I mentioned last week. I absolutely love the aesthetic going on here, since it has that kinda Demo Questy feel to it. Really want to play this

when it's done. I'm not sure however what's happening with Link and the rock since he seems to be kind of under it. Is he holding it above his head?

Love the shot though.

Jared - You nailed it. This screams "The Legend of Zelda" since you managed to get all the elements in there. Link riding the horse. Mountains with layers,

depth, and detail. Multiple paths and entrances and exits. Mysterious looking objects and the temple. Not sure if this is a mock-up or part of something

but it looks fun as heck and is something I'd love to play. I assume in order to open the temple you have to do something with that statue or maybe

the auspicious boulder in the corner. Love it! Voted Here.

Thank you everybody for the wonderful shots. These were really fun to look at:)
