Just to let you know, I just came out of a questing slump to make a dungeon. No, not that water one I was discussing. That will come later.

I'm almost finished building a very, very special minidungeon. Unfortunately, I'd spoil the experience for you if I told you what it was. But here's what I can say:

FEAR.

This dungeon will take everything I've got and throw it at you in an attempt to thoroughly creep you out. If you are not genuinely unnerved, demand your money back! This dungeon will take everything you have away, and thrust you into the most horrifying place in existence, where you'll be alone with your thoughts. And you'll wish you weren't.

Anyone who can guess what it's gonna be (and doesn't already know from being on the staff) and tells me (in spoiler tags) gets a cookie. A cookie made of sheer terror.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! When the final release arrives, you will rue the day you set foot in this place! BWAHAHAHAHA!

This sounds like an interesting idea and it does seem like a scary dungeon indeed. I don't know what it is going to be though. Can't wait to try out for real though.

Well, to creep me out, you need large pools of blood everywhere with bloody skulls with creepy silent hill music at the end of a dark and depressing suicide tomb.

Actually, I find anything of the sort creeps me out, but still, Lost Isle made me the most creeped out since I read pokemon LostSilver.

The best horror is achieved when nothing is actually happening but the player is lead to believe something will. Or when the player feels helpless. Like if you give the player right flipped slash. Damn.
