Sandy wall set, no doors yet.
First tier of said walls placed on screen, with sand on the middle
Credit goes to Robin for the tiles used for reference.

I like them, but they almost look like... the sand is on top of the walls, or something. Like GB style, rather than the Sand being where the base of the walls start.

They look great, but I think these tiles lack depth. I'm not sure how you could fix that, otherwise they are perfect though.

Update to the sand walls, because they needed depth

Are the shielded Link tiles ever going to be released? :/
Posted 26 December 2014 - 10:57 AM
Didn't I post those already?
I have a lot going on so I haven't touched ZQ in a long while. I'll try to remind myself to do what needs to be done when I have time.

They have been around for a couple of months now, no? Or were they just left to rot in that dropbox folder?
Posted 26 December 2014 - 11:36 AM
Yeah they have been sleeping the resource folder for a long while...
Anyway, I entered ZQ today and prepared the update. I asked Linkus to import the shield-Link sprites to the correct questfile. Update will be ready within a few days.

In palette 1:
The water/land transition is kind of a WIP, there are a few combinations that look weird. Somebody might wanna try to fix them, but they work for the most part.
And here is palette 2:
If you want to create palettes yourself for the mountains replace the red in CSet 3 with brown for the mountains.
is there something with how i'm downloading these? they are 256 colour images? do they need to be? why not export directly from ZQuest?

That's my fault. I wasn't thinking when I reseized them. Anyways, here's the most recent version of the tiles, but you will have to crop and reseize them yourself I'm afraid.
[Edit: Supindahood fixed it, see below.]

I'll fix your tilepages Sheik, and put them in the bonus tiles folder for the upcoming release. I will release the next version within a short time.

The following items have been added to the bonus tiles folder, credit goes to Sheik.

Speaking about Link tiles. Does anybody feel like making carrying objects (bushes, pots, stones, cuccos...) tiles for Firebird Link? And the pushing/pulling tiles? I feel they would be very nice additions for people that use scripted features and the basic tiles exist as the GB Link tiles already so there is a good reference.
