I got to hand it to NJF, Classic + NJFessness = TRIFORCE Sexy Screen of Doom!

In NJF's screen, the 8 bit sprites clash badly with the tiles.

I'll go with Umbrello here, it's a very refreshing screen with a nice vibe.

Self: Compared to this week's entries I have to say I place it 2nd to DDPs, tying with Umbrello for 2nd.

 

DDP: 1st: Now this is a good screen, love the caption too.

Anikom: 5th: This looks hideous, the cset for those torches is wrong, the dungeon torch shouldn't even be there, and don't get me started on the rug CSet.

Zecora got my vote. DDP's came close second, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what's going on. It seems like a bunch of assorted of sideview tiles was just laid down without a second thought on perspective. Maybe I'm stupid, but I really don't see the perspective.

Hmmm...how'd you say the colors don't make sense? It's orange and blue, one of the most tried-and-true color schemes out there! Would it be the characters, perhaps?

Oh, and Umbrello's shot is probably one of my favorite here. I love how he's trying to pull off some Non-Zelda stuff in Zelda Classic! Takes guts to pull that off well.

Well, it looks like the light is coming from the background, so the background looks backlit, but the foreground is frontlit.
