Map of the Year 2013 Finals
This is it! Vote for the best map of 2013. The winner will receive a virtual high five and a whole year of bragging rights.

1. Evan20000 (MotM 40)
Minor IoR spoilers. Are you ready for an adventure? (There will probably also be more NPCs in the final version)

8. Theryan (MotM 38)

The year's winner will be announced on or near January 31st. All three members are accomplished mapmakers who deserve praise, win or lose. Good luck to them all.

Evan2000 by far. Not being rude to the other maps, they are awesome as well, but they are just going up against which most likely is the Map of the All Time.

I voted Linkus, and here's my reason. While Evan and Theryan provided maps that were well designed and look like fun to play. I felt like Linkus' map features the best village map I've seen ever. It's got atmosphere and it looks like the houses were taken into consideration rather than being plopped just so it can be called a village. The smallest details look and feel like they've been taken into heavy consideration is really why I have to call this the best map.

 

But Evan and Theryan do deserve to win too. Again, both good quality maps that deserve to be here.

Aww, I'm the only one who's voted for Theryan.

 

I felt his was the best since, the tiles and palette just make it so beautiful.

 

Evan's is huge, and really good, but I still find Theryan's to look much nicer, personally.

 

Linkus's is great, and while it's completely custom, which is points up, it's not my favorite map this time around.
