A glimpse of what a tileset I am working on will look like. I don't know if this is good enough for a SotW but it looks good enough too me. Also, The subscreen WILL change in the future.

Noel's shot displays some fine graphics creating a very nice atmosphere, but I've seen this before. 

 

NewJourneysFire, on the other hand, is very interesting, and original. The design is also superb. This is why I voted here.

Nulled because I entered, but hot damn NewJourneysFire's shot is AMAZING! Don't see something like that in classic every day!

NoeL gets my vote. NJF's shot was a close second, but why isn't Link or the enemies shadowed when standing in that shadowed area?

Noel: You have a neat looking Aquamentus. and I haven't quite seen that graphics pack before which uses things on a different perspective.

Coolgamer: you never fail at providing your own unique style into your work. It certainly feels like coolgamer.

Chris: You got something going good for you there. It looks nice, and we need more side view screens.

EDIT: Dang, Chris Miller's shot comes close second. Better than a generic DoR shot I'd say.

I liked NewJourneysFire screen, i did like the shading... but i just found it abit all over the place?? O_o ( i know i'm probably weird )

 

So I voted for Noels: I love that screen, especially the walls and the lanterns. Looks Great

I voted for NewJourneysFire. I *really* like NoeL's as well, but the layering on that waterfall is just too cool for school.

Haven't voted in one of these in awhile but NoeL's remake shot caught my attention. Love the Link and Aquamentus sprites.

 

NewJourneysFire was a real close second. I've been following this project a bit and I love the shading and depth added to classic. It looks really sharp and I'm a fan of what he's doing. I know it's referred to as a joke quest but it's unlike most quests I've seen. On my to play list once it's finished.

 

Chris Miller's is also interesting. Kinda reminds me of Castlevania SOTN, but the cave graphics remind me of an old Super Nintendo game. I wanna say it was "Out of This World" the way the cave looks.

 

Coolgamer. I dig. I like the pallet but I think it needs to be lightened up a bit. I like the custom tile work and the way Link looks. Mountain use needs some work. Some of the tile use looks awkward. Overall a nice start, but needs more work and polish.

 

That was fun. Need to do this more often.
