Jman's looks a bit off with the purple grid in the background so you should try and take that out.
I think you all did a good job.

But, anyway...
benmw02190: WOW! AWESOME SHOT! That's the most AMAZING thing I'VE EVER SEEN!
jman2050: MY EYES! X_X
Mr. Z: Pretty good, but a little... bland. :\
Petoe: Nice shot. The only thing I suggest is making the wallmasters darker; looks strange compared to the dark room.
skateboarder11: Pretty good for something that's still 1.90... actually, pretty good overall.
Wild Bill: Damn, that's awesome! ^_^ I wish I could make shots like that...
Whhthe2: Pretty good, for someone that's fairly new. Nice custom map, and nice use of that pallette, also.
If I could vote, I'd choose... WB or Whhthe2. They were awesome.

jman2050: The tiles aren't all that interesting, and the flash is very annoying
Mr. Z: I like the ship. did you make it, or is there a way for me to get it.
Petoe: Where indeed. But, still, very nice shot. I presume it's a GB tileset, or a toned down pure. But, nothing great.
skateboarder11: I would advise you do something else with the doors. They just, don't look right.
Wild Bill: Layers worked out very well here. But, not much to grab the person.
Whhthe2: The palete is okay, but is used very well, as nothing looks awkward.
The winner is... WB. It was the most appealing of the shots, so it deserves the spot.

Wild Bill would get my vote though. Definitely looks the best to me. And while I want my shot to win, I'm not really expecting it too

It's supposed to be a plant/grass themed AREA.

jman2050: This shot is okay, just remove the purple gird and it will look muck better.
Mr. Z: Once again a good shot.
Petoe: This one... looks ugly to me.
skateboarder11: I just created this screen to enter here, I may or may not use it in an upcoming quest.
Wild Bill: This one is okay, but the forest doesn't seem dark enough.
Whhthe2: It's okay, but maybe remove the Aquamentus.
Null vote, although if I didn't enter I'd vote for benmw02190.

jman2050: It's OK, change the background a bit, more colors, less flashes.
Mr. Z: I like the ship, nice effect. Maybe add a bit more waves to the water, seeing as it's raining
Petoe: Fix the doors, wallmasters wayyy too bright
skateboarder11: I would say to change or add more depth to the background by adding another color, and/or adding another color to the rim of the clouds. the one in the top left doesn't look right, it's cut off.
Wild Bill: Nice.Seen em' before, maybe add a different color than green into it?
Whhthe2: Nice palette. The blue is kinda bright, maybe that's just because, the aquamentii need a bit of fixing with their bright opposed to the palettes dark
I null voted. Nothing amazing going on. -_-

benmw02190- nice looking shot, but maybe you could add a tree or two. Also, nice use of the corner grass tiles.
jman2050- a nice original shot, I like the shadows you have, but the flashing would get annoying.
Mr. Z- I like the shot, nice area for a Pirate Ship.
Petoe- Good looking screen setup, but the wallmasters are kinda bright. I like the setup of the room.
skateboarder11- Doesn't look too bad, but it reminds me of Polygon's Mario Quest. Also the doors do look a bit goofy because the cloud they are in doesn't look like a wall.
Wild Bill- Nice shot. I like it's setup and coloring. Good use of the shadow tiles.
Whhthe2- Nice shot, good use of the tiles here. I like the forest in the background. This gets my vote, just because it catches my attention somehow.

jman--Cool effects, but the Tron-like background doesn't scream "thunder palace" to me.
Mr. Z--Okay, the ripped ship from OoS and a waterfall. *yawn*
Petoe--Blue, red, and green... don't contrast very well. (Is this MM: DWR?)
skateboarder11--VEL's Mario Tileset. The cloud floor is boring.
WB--Great. The dirt is a little too white, but overall...
whhthe2--Pure's graveyard palatte is nice, but not good for SSOTW.
I contemplated null voting, but WB's is better than the rest by enough that he gets my vote.

Ben - it may be grass themed, but it doesnt make for a very interesting shot.
Jman - more texture would help, but the thunder theme is intrigueing. If it wasnt so flat and plain looking It'd get my vote (if i could vote)
Mr. Z - I wish my monitor wasnt so dim...then maybe i could make out what your ship looks like
Petoe - Same as Mr Z's...Damn my low tech equipment.
Skateboarder11 - ditto on the doors/clouds, if it were my shot, i'd try to give the clouds the doors are built into more dimension. Also that hole in the cloud mario is standing on looks kinda weird, as the corners are the off corners of another tile...if that makes sense.
WB - I blocked all sources of light into my room, and found that i could see yours a little bit...well...at least enough to know that i liked it.
I'm going to be featuring more shots of my quest 'Wandering Swordsman' in the next weeks, so...yeah...ummm...word.
