My remodeling of the first part of Level 8 is done.
Just ran into an awesome script done by Moosh called Newbie Boss. This has got to be the coolest script I've ever seen! I just loaded it into my quest and successful made my first boss enemy using this script! This script will be used a lot in my quest!
Edit: This script works with kurt91's Beginner-Level Custom Boss Kit! I'm going to have lots of fun with this!

Been working on making a boss.
This is only a preview, as this is only a portion of the boss.

The free trial screen capturing thing didn't record audio, so here is overworld music. (Not boss music).

Did a little more dungeon carving configuration for LttP dungeon tiles. I didn't like any of the pre-existing rips, either because they were off-pixel or because they used the rotation method rather than the accurate method, so I re-ripped all the tiles from my own LttP screenshots, including the worn-out walls from the desert palace, which I've never seen in a set yet. It's the Ganon's Tower tiles that are causing the hassle. That sludge hanging down the side has required a significant amount of editing when it comes to creating the tiles that fit into 8-pixel increments.
After all this, I'm considering making an extended set with all the doors, floors, and original palettes available for import/configuration as well.
Also continued with relational mode setups for a lot of the DoR grounds and obstacles. That set can be particularly hard to crack with all its extended fine-tuning tiles, so hopefully these will make it a lot easier to work with. It also required the creation of a lot of new tiles to go with it.
I'd like to do dungeon carving for all its dungeons as well, but those will probably have to be broken into 3 different sets based on how well they work with the mode. I've already got a few set up though, especially that fire temple set ripped by ShadowTiger, which I particularly love.

Just finished off my boss battles for Skull Woods. There's a total of five.
Though, you don't have to beat them all. In fact, you only have to beat one if you choose a certain path. But that's HIGHLY unlikely without cheats.
Most likely you only have to beat two. But for demo purposes, I will leave all the bosses open to be beaten on a single fie.

Finally got this ridiculous Ganon's Tower tile pack set up for dungeon carving:
The hell with that sludge hanging down the walls. Took longer to hack this together than all the other dungeon sets combined.
Of course, I don't like the misalignments of the bricks on the corner tiles, so I'll be creating my own "preferred" option for tiles once again.
But that's at least the 4 main sets, finally 100% "true" to the original LttP tiles.
I'll do caves next, then I guess I'll be finishing with the floor tiles and relational mode for borders.
And probably an index for the original palettes as well as a DoR color option for easy import.
Maybe I'll even have it posted by next week

Edited some GB-style cliff tiles for Koten, since I couldn't find any that were already done, and my own mountains look a bit... Bleh.
And the versions that will be in the generic tileset:

I started scripting some cut scenes for my quest. I would have done this earlier, but this last week I have been really busy wrapping everything up for the end of the school year. Today was the last day of school, so I will now have a lot more time to work on my quest.

Did a lot of behind-the-scenes scripting work, namely in regards to dealing with Tango.zh and setting up a framework that will make dialogue boxes much easier to set up in the long run and making it easier to set up cutscenes.

Level 8 is starting to come together now! There is still much work to be done.
I made some more boss enemies using Moosh's awesome Newbie Boss script! That script and I are becoming great friends.
