I voted for Migokalle. Yoshidude's shot is a nice improvement over last week's and EZ and Plissken's ToA shots are pretty good.

I didn't even know a new SoTW was going up. But I voted for GPSM, because I played that demo, and it looks much better now!

A great improvement Yoshidude, but try to put up a different screen next time. icon_smile.gif
Plissken, very nice! icon_biggrin.gif
EZ, very nice and original! My second vote if i could icon_thumbsup.gif

Oh gosh, all were amazing. Migo has pretty graphics, Yoshi has great overall design, Ebola has beautiful tile use. But in the end, I voted for Plissken. Because making a good dungeon like that is something that I just can't do. Amazing work, all of you guys!

I like! But...there's too much going on with the transparent tree stuff. I'd suggest making them a solid colour transparent instead.

Sorry, but that palette hurts my eyes. Apart from that, it's not bad.

You win my vote. That palette is scrumptious.

Beautiful screen, only thing that bugs me is the transition between the cliff and the wall is kinda awkward.

Tough choice between Ebola and Plissken this week. Both are magnificent screendesigners, but I must say that Plissken's screen look a bit more crisp than the other, and while this isn't because of the way it's been designed, but rather the look of the actual tiles, it does drag me over towards the idea of voting for Plissken. So that's what I did.

Yoshidude, I must say, aside from your palette, this screen is probably the best I've seen you make. Good going! icon_thumbsup.gif

Voted for Plissken. I really like the design of your dungeon, dude. Robin was in close second. icon_thumbsup.gif Great shots this week, all!

Migo: I like the shot, but I don't like the colors. Maybe if you changed the colors, it would look better. You know what it reminds me of? An old shot by Joe123, I don't remember exactly what it looked like. 7/10

Yoshidude: I'm sorry man, I like the changes you made to the screen, but to submit the same screen twice with a few small changes won't change my opinion about it. It's an okay screen, if I saw it in a quest I wouldn't think twice. But you entered it in SotW. It is just, quite simply, too bland. Change up the colors of the trees, use different details, and use different colors other than brown, blue and green. Just a suggestion. 5/10

Plissken: I LOVE this screen. I really do. You did a BEAUTIFUL job with the dungeon. The elevation is perfect, the detail is spectacular, and the lighting and colors are better than the rest. 9/10

Ebola Zaire: Once again, my friend, you impress me with your ability to make a screen. Unfortunately, your screen resembles your other screens to much to achieve my vote. I love your desert screens, I really do. But I would like to see something new. How about a forest shot, or a beach shot? There is nothing wrong with your shot, I just don't like it as much as Plisskin's. 8/10

My vote went to Plisskin.

This is a really hard choice...I eventually went with Yoshidude. It isn't the best screen, but it shows so much improvement over Yoshidude's previous shot. The other three shots were just typical Plissken, Migo, and EZ shots...they just didn't do anything I haven't seen from them before...

Plissken and Ebola Zaire are cheating puting a screen from the same game
It's not cheating, Yoshidude. They both made each screen themselves, so it isn't as if Ebola, or Plissken is uploading a shot for the other person.

Are you joking? Plissken and EZ are no cheaters. They both made those screens themselves. Case closed.

Yeah but the screens are both from the same game. It's not cheating, it's just...blah.

The two shots in question are from different makers, and it really doesn't matter, at all, whether or not they're from the same game. Pick a new topic and get over it.

Robin - 8/10
I like this river crossing scene. Well detailed and well put together, as your screens typically are. The shadowing effect is a nice extra touch, the bridge is very well fitting, and overall it's very interesting to look at.

Yoshidude - 6/10
Definitely an improvement from last week's entry. The activity is there, and the detail is spiced up more. You did well, and I would certainly play a quest knowing that screens regularly look like that. You just have much tougher competition this time around, as the other three are very skilled screen designers.

Plissken - 8/10
Well put together interior, along with great tile choices. Goes to show that you are not required to use a lot of colors to make a great screen.

Ebola Zaire - 7/10
Great tiles and great detail all around. My only criticism, and it's a minor one, is that it feels a bit awkward in places, mainly because it looks like the screen is trying to bite off a tad more than it can chew. Sounds more major when you need a lot of words to explain it, though.

Tough decision here. I'm going with Robin for overall appeal. Clearly the effort was a strong one from all four of you.
