Oh dear. Those pictures are great. The graphics on that Metroid one are... wow. Oh, I want to know something: How do you enter one of these Screenshot of the Week competitions?

upload an image in .gif, .jpg/.jpeg, or .png. send it to me in a PM titled SotW (you can add the week you wish to enter), as well as the caption you'd like to accompany the shot. it'd look a lot like this:

Okay. Thanks! I can do this starting after this one ends, right? Or can I do it whenever I want? To put it another way, should I want until one SotW ends before trying to submit a screenshot for the next?

I have to say Mighty Darknut wins. He was right when he said you can easily mistake it for Exate's XL. The next one goes to Radien. Nice shot and nice tall serenia. Linkus Mastii's shot is also very good.

you can start submitting a year from now, or two days ago, and I'll put it in the next SotW after the current one ends... unless you request it to be put in a certain SotW

in other words, anytime you want to submit is fine

Erhem. MD's is the best, but that ship is still rather HUGE for tiny ole Samus there.

Great shot, I love the walls, too bad they're incomplete in DoR v0.9.

LM: Gets my vote for awsome custom work. Keep up the good job.

MD: Has the nicest flow out of all of them, but the fact that the ship overlaps the wall kinda bothers me.

Raiden: Big Seiria... please dont tell me this is permenant.. she looks normal now, but I liked the old Siera tiles... they were cute. These are kinda chronish, but I cant put aside my hatred for big link styles.

I went with Radien on this one, for the dungeon itself. I don't really go for Big Link tiles...

Yeah, the perspective on MD's shot is kinda screwy. And one more thing...Exate doesn't give his tiles out to anybody...how'd you get 'em?

He gave them to Toaofgamecube, who released the Metroid Prime Tileset.
I used those tiles, plus BS tiles, plus ripped metroid tiles, plus custom tiles in order to create what closely resembles the beautiful tileset from XL-75 Remake.
(the Brinstar walls were ripped by Darkspawn, and that Samus is an edited version of Darkspawn's Dark Samus tiles)

Linkus: Lacking in... excitement. It's a good shot just not for SoTW
MD: Sorry but making Metroid go top down view looks like crap. No offense to anyone who is or has made a Metroid quest.
Radien: Would be good but Big Serenia is WAY to out of proportion. :/

Woah, Linkus Mastii! What a great inside shot.

Radien's shot looks good as well, but it could use some small details and that big Serena just doesn't look good at all... it doesn't fit to the environment...
