I've taken the wizard path. Where are the raft and where specifically is Level 5? I can't find them.

I've done the first level and have most of level 2 done but I can't find the bow. I got the arrow so did I miss something back in level 1? Also is there a shop that sells a shield cheaper than $275 I haven't found a money bag yet and could really use the shield and the white sword that is sold for $500

The bow is in Level 4 I believe

Not that I know of yet on a cheaper shield

Thanks for telling me where the bow is SoStaci. I just found a money bag so at least I can go back and get a shield and the white sword.

I can't find the raft still. I've looked in the first 5 levels and some of the optional ones too.....still no raft.

Where is it? Did I miss something?

EDIT:Nevermind, I found the Raft. It was in Level 6

Ms. Zelda, where did you find the bigger wallet, I'd like to have that. I'm in level 2 and can't seem to find one key that opens a door near the boss room, does anyone know where I missed a key? Thanks!

I'm not sure but I think I found a moneybag by burning a bush in the overworld.
I'm still stuck in level 3 trying to find the bridge. I tried your directions SoStaci but I can't find it.

ok, just to recap:
raft: level 6 apparently, just skip that place in level 3 and come back later.
wallet: thats the only item you can get right early on in level 3.
bow: level 4. (why does everybody like getting the bow before the arrows?)
level 5: go to the southern part of the map (through a cave) and take the western path up the mountain.
cheap shield: beat the first optional dungeon (northeast on the main island), and you will get an orange letter (acts as bait). take this to the cave on the next screen from that dungeon, and follow the cave into the town. strategicly buy items here, but later on there is an easy way to get all the money you need.

additional hints i forgot to add:
bombable and burnable spots on the overworld use a slightly different tile, very hard to tell with the bushes.
find the heart container piece cave in the swirling desert.
there is a secret room of coins in each dungeon, but two chained together in each optional dungeon.
all triforce dungeons contain 2 items (1 dungeon you will have to go back to), and optional dungeons will have at least 1 item. all dungeons contain a full heart container.

one last note:
for all those nansy-pansies out there, much like in mega man 2 (yes a reference to another NES game) i am making an easy mode of the quest. fewer enemies, lower prices, less pride. i hope everybody ignores it and goes for the original difficulty.

In the town, you need the orange letter first.

I'm assuming when you say "nansy-pansies" you're talking about me? I've died, ummmmm, a few times, and haven't even finished level 2, but I did sneak ahead, found level 4 and got the bracelet and bow, and got the wallet from level 3. At least now I can go get a shield and better sword, but with my luck a like-like will suck me up and take my shield. Stupid like-likes
