I love zelda games more than any other game. And I also love on the go gaming. That is why I was wondering if it is possible to somehow port the zelda classic(just game, not game editor) to either a arch linux program or maybe the os of the GCW-Zero. I just think it would be awesome to be able to play zelda classic quests on the go. So if you know of a way, let me know. Also would be need to be don't to make the application work on arch linux?

PS. I am wondering about the raspberry pi because i have created a portable game system out of it.

Wow, you built that? That's really cool. ZC being portable is one of the most highly requested, and asked about "features". Long story short, it is not possible, without tons of work. There are people who have tried, and there is another thread about ZC on mobiles. It's basically a limit of the extremely old engine ZC was built on.

As long as the device hardware is x86-based, then you can run ZC on a Linux distro on it. Other hardware platforms, such as ARM, are not supported, and supporting them is not really an option. Sorry.

Post some links to the hardware specs of the devices that interest you, and I'll review them, to give you my verdict on whether they could run ZC.

Keyboard, or USB pad input may be a concern. I do not know if any of these devices have built-in controller pads, and if they do, how they are configured in software, and mapped.
