It is always a good feeling of accomplishment when I get to finish a challenging game. I love the choice of tileset and it's use. Having 2 lead characters, a fun idea, especially when one has weapons I have never seen or used, it was a learning curve. Tough bosses and lots of them. A hard game, not for the weak of heart. I almost gave up a few times, but I'm glad I didn't. I give this a 4.5. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I like a game that is not quite so stressful and more just plain fun.

The design of this game is terrible, completely linear and uninspired. On top of everything, the whole game revolves around a boring and confusing storyline... It takes about 15 minutes to get past all the dialogue at the beginning, and the text interrupts you all the time... This game lives off scripts, and while there are some interesting ideas, when the whole foundation of the game is based off a concept that doesn't work, one can only expect the worse.

This is a great quest, with an awesome story, creative and beautiful environments, and a unique player mechanic that alternates between a typical Link warrior and a mage with an arsenal of really unique abilities. It uses scripting to great effect with many great custom enemies and bosses.
The only reason I rate it a four is because there's a great deal of bugs. Almost none of them are game breaking, but they certainly are distracting, and there were too many for me to ignore. With additional bug testing, this could be one of the greatest quests in the database.

Nice screenshots Russ! I have been expecting this sequel from quite some time though. I enjoyed playing the Light of the Heavens DX! Very short though, but cool story indeed. I'm gonna rate 5 stars for the screenshots, I have started playing this, so far, so good. This quest must better not dissapoint me Russ! Keep up your best work!
