This is a five star quest.
ywkis' review is spot on...hard but not too hard, great puzzles, terrific overworld and dungeons.

This review is quoted from my testing of this quest. (Mostly because I'm too lazy to write it all over again.) I haven't played the completed version, although I doubt that there have been significant enough changes for me to alter my opinion.

So, how do I feel about the quest overall?

I will go out on a limb and say this is hands down the best ZC quest I've ever played. It's also the second one by someone else that I've finished.

Whereas as the other (Umbral Cloud) focused on hard bosses, your was centered around mind-bending puzzles. (Some more so than others.) There's a lot of "outside the box" thinking in this quest, though the final dungeon is the worst offender in the case of "what do I do here?" Though, that might be because I wasn't aware of all the capabilities of the items I had or the hints were too obscure To be honest; there really was only one puzzle that really stumped me.

Most of the enemies in the game that you're required to beat aren't too hard, though I still dread running into Iron Knuckles of any sort.

All of the items well rounded and useful, though I think that the Aquamentus that you can summon shouldn't have to be dismissed to count as beating all enemies in some rooms.

There are also a lot of upgrades to items and secrets to be found, encouraging exploration.

Leveling up was never particularly hard and the first time I felt like I should have gotten a couple more was the Tower of Seline. Of course, once I got to Hyrule and found the EXP ring, things got even easier.

There is a lot more money than most ZC quests, though that is compensated by having a lot of things to spend them on. Part of me wishes the shops couldn't sell you the same thing twice, since I wasted 500 rupees that way once.

There are lots of subtle nods to older Zelda games here that I really appreciated.
