RITSUKO: It’s the same with some tilesets. The reason people don't combine tilesets is because they're afraid of style clash.




Understanding 100% of everything is impossible. That's why we spend all our lives trying to understand the thinking of others. That's what makes life so interesting.

I love the colors in this tileset. it takes the simplicity and functionality of the Classic tileset, and it mixes it with a lot of other great tile choices. Good tile selections from the GB Zelda games and hints of the Pure sets adds a nice variety ,and, better yet, Moose makes it all blend together pretty well. While this alone is well designed, this tileset gives it added depth with a wide range of palettes and colors. Moosh chooses a nice wide range of colors that give a user a large availability of pleasing colors to pick. This meshes well with the tile selection to create a large array of possibilities for the users.

There are unfortunately a single, minor downside, with all of the samples of tiles and palettes, there is the potential for things to look really unpleasant. With all of the mixtures of different tiles, there is a very real possibility of putting something that stands out or that just looks ugly. People with a good knowledge of ZQuest and screen design will not likely suffer this issue as much as say a new user, who might unintentionally ruin a perfectly good screen. However, this is an issue that has existed since tileset additions/compilations were first created, and it is certainly not a reason to deduct an entire star.

Surprised that I haven't reviewed this tileset yet despite using it quite a bit in the past and for a quest I was making.

I love the tileset. Everything's easy to use and everything's pretty organised, which is great for me because I love organised tilesets. Sure, there's style clashing between GB, Classic and Z3, but this is one of those rare exceptions where they all work very well together. Good job with this tileset and hopefully I can finish a quest using this.

I really like the mash up here. I've never really minded "clashing" graphics, cause it's not like we're making money here, this is purely for fun. This is a great set with a lot of options to make a very functional quest with minimal time spent on making super elaborate screens. I have been working on a similar unholy fusion tileset with Classic as its base too, but it has a lot more NES tiles. It's a huge mess, and not submission worthy though.

Nice job with this! I like the added dungeon tiles and the rest is nice as well! recolors are no problem for me, and there is no way in hell this deserves 0 stars, even if it sucked 0 stars is a bit much. It doesn't suck though!
