I know that people put a lot of hard work into these type of things and it pains me to give less than a good score to this because I probably couldn't do much better, but this is a mixed bag. While it looks like a SNES game to some degree, some of the palettes come off wrong and it just makes it feel wrong. Plus, it seems the enemies are horrifically outlined and don't blend into the background well at all.
It was a nice effort, but the execution on this tileset in the end wasn't too great. I think it could be somewhat improved. Keep working on it and future projects, we know you can do it Chris!

As it turns out, the NES palette could be stretched pretty far! You can do a whole lot with a little. Many of the tiles look as though they belong in an SNES game.
