Contrary to the description, it doesn't work in other versions. I'm using 2.53, by the way.
To be more specific, when I try to load it, it gives me an Invalid Version error.
I'll update this review once the issue is resolved.

Anyway, it's... alright, for what it's trying to be. Except that the dungeon screens aren't organized at all. Like, the least you could've done was use different palettes to distinguish what type of screen it is (water, no water, etc).

This was made in 2.55, alpha 78. But considering it's just a version of the default tileset with no scripts, it probably will work in other versions.

Get a head start on that Z1 clone you've been considering making with this Z1 Clone Maker tileset!
It uses the tileset that comes packaged with ZC but with a big time change to make it easier to get moving with your newest Z1 clone.
Included:
A Premade Overworld which I will be using in my own Z1 clones.
4 New Drop Sets titled Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D, which are based on the OG Z1's drop sets. They are however not used on any of the enemies. Google "Zelda 1 Item Drops" to find the image.
154 premade dungeon room layouts.
The last thing this includes is favorited combos. I believe every tile used in Z1 is favorited in this tileset.
There are no custom made tiles by me, and the room layouts are from Z1, BS Zelda and two Zelda clone quests made by Lunar.
