(Minish Cap Collection) Mt. Crenel Area by Anthus
Updated: 18 Jan 2016 Posted: 28 Nov 2005 Tags: Overworld, Ripped, and 4 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.67/5 (5 ratings) Information:
This is a rip of about 95% of the tiles from Minish Cap's Mt. Crenel Area. These use 8-bit color, but there is a low-fi 16 color version as well, but they are more limited. This is an 11-year-later update to on of my 2005 submissions :P The palette is kind of messy, and I'm looking for ways to improve my palette building so tips are appreciated.
64x64 Large Trees for Classic by Anthus

These are large trees I blew up, and rounded off for the Classic set. They were pretty simple to make, but I thought they might come in handy, since the Classic set is completely lacking in the large tree department.

The original blacks in the trees that used the transparent color have been changed to use the first solid black in c-set 2 of the overworld palette. Just a heads up if you've changed that black, cause it will effect the trees. This was done to free up the transparency for layerin [View Full Description]
Classic Winter Tile Edits by Anthus

these were made for a classic quest which I was working on some time ago. I released them on ZCR, but I'll put them here too :)

Here are some slight edits, and alterations made to some Classic tiles optimizing them for use with a winter/ snow/ ice themed area.

This is not a palette swap as much as it is an actual recolor to make them more Wintery. Works with c-sets 4 (Mountains and Trees), and 7 (Ice) in classic. Still uses new default classic palettes, so no recoloring should be required [View Full Description]

-= Update Five =-
I added a "shadowless" version which might be more practicle and easier to use since it gets rid of the extra tile neded for the shadows.

This is hopefully the last update :)

Oracle/Majora's Mask Owl Statue Edits by Anthus
Updated: 26 Dec 2011 Posted: 26 Dec 2011 Tags: Overworld, Character, and 4 more Rating[?]: No rating Information:
There was a thread requesting tiles for the owl statue from MM. Ebola Zaire posted the statue from the Oracle games, and I decided to edit it slightly, and add the pedestal with the G cleft thing, and tweak the wings slightly. Since Skyward Sword has been out, it will probably become hip to have save spots in quests, so this should fit right in. :P

The statue itself is 24x24, but it should be positioned to be used as if it were 32x32. I have two ways of going about this. Position the Owl at t [View Full Description]
Zelda 2 Overworld Tiles by Anthus
Updated: 20 Oct 2012 Posted: 20 Oct 2012 Tags: Overworld, Ripped, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.43/5 (6 ratings) Information:
These are the twelve (count 'em!) overworld tiles found in Link's second NES outing. I also added an A thru D tile to use for making, and marking multiple warps per screen. Make these lettered combos the direct warp, or stairs with their respective letter, and then layer the overworld tiles over them. That's what I find easiest anyway, but you can combo them however you want.

This was a very simple rip, and they all use one c-set which can be grabbed from the image.

Enjoy :)
ZTD - New Classic Grass, Sand, and Water Tiles by Anthus

This is my fifth entry from ZTD (=O

This is also probably the most usefull and practical one. Okay, For those of you that are using the classic set, you have obviously noticed that it lacks many overworld type tiles... Well I added new sand, water, and grass tiles.

Also, I included the .zpl (palette) for the entire set. This will not overwrite your existing three color palettes, infact it will add to them, but still keep the first three colors untouched. So, I would suggest that import the [View Full Description]
ZTD Clouds/ Misc. by Anthus
Updated: 07 Mar 2005 Posted: 18 Jan 2005 Tags: 16-color, Misc, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.17/5 (5 ratings) Information:
These are a few simple tiles that slightly resemble the GBC Zelda game's horizon. But I hand drew all of them in their 8-bit glory. There are enough here to create a nice looking horizon/ cloud effect from a high place.

Update
I have put the tiles into .gif format, or saved them the right way, so it is easier to use them. I also added some other miscellaneous tiles, like custom lave, crappy dugeon water (see enclosed readme for more details).
[From ALttP] Pyramid of Power by Anthus

I am not sure if these exist on here in some form or not, but in case they don't I ripped the Pyramid of Power tiles into ZC :D

These are just the basic tiles directly from the game map, mostly. There were a few very minor tweaks to get them to work in ZC, but it's 99.57% (So I added six pixels to two tiles..) from the game. I might do some more with the border as far as custom work goes in an attempt to make them more flexible. To get this out of the way now, I probably won't be doing the i [View Full Description]
