This quest was made for Naldrag's 27 Hour Quest Contest, and the creation came at the cost of mine and Sheik's psyche. It's about two thirds of a BS overworld, five mini-dungeons, and a bit of stuff in between. The quest has roughly an hour's worth of gameplay.
This version was most recently updated on the March 17 2023 nightly, so it may or may not be playable on older versions.

Differences between the contest version and this one include:

• script fixes
• L2 sword being nerfed dramatically
• graphical fixes
• other bug fixes

Update (17/04/23):

• fixed a bug where cracked floors would use the wrong pitfall combo and softlock the player in screen 80

The town of Mitches Fault is in grave peril, in fear of the entity known as the Monarch.

​You are a humble explorer, trapped inside the Hinox Cave.

Will you be able to free the townsfolk from the horror of the Monarch?

Don't be afraid of the water - you can swim from the beginning of the quest!

If there are any bugs, please don't be afraid to post them in the comments! I debugged a heap for Deathrider's stream of the contest entries, but I'm sure I've missed some here and there.
If I've missed anything I'll try to fix it up and push out a debugged version as soon as possible.
