Pretty good quest overall, really feels nostalgic as most of the early 2.10 quests used to look similar to this, so that was pretty nice. Most of the quest played quite nicely, I really liked the simplistic Z1-style dungeons and the overworld was quite nice to explore. The screen design generally was alright, though some areas of the overworld were quite empty and bland (such as the mountain area and the desert). I do understand the limitations of the tileset used though, but I imagine you could've added more rocks or trees or something in the mountain, and maybe a little oasis or something in the desert. Other than that though, I don't really mind everything else. I also liked how earlier items still had quite a use later on (especially the Wand and Hookshot). That was quite neat.
I think the only real issue I have is the enemies in the quest. The overworld generally had a nice mix of enemies, though Red Lynels real close to the start was a bit mean and seeing how they were buffed up, it was a bit too crazy compared to the difficulty of every other enemy on the overworld. The enemy difficulty generally was quite good, however near the end, things spiked a bit out of control. The Blue Darknuts were a bit crazy but weren't too bad once you know how to deal with them easily, however they were a massive jump over the enemies in Level 7 and Level 9 had an even bigger jump which felt a bit unfair at times (Firerobes with the insane stats were pretty mean). And then, Level Ex was generally a mess for me. The difficulty here just feels really unfair and everything deals way too much damage and takes forever to kill. Also, the dungeon being a huge 8x8 box is quite boring and began to drag on a bit. I never managed to beat it because of the excessive difficulty spike, though it would be cool to know what you get out of it. I understand this is like post-game content and all, but even for bonus content, that was a bit much. Finally, enemy variety was a little boring in some parts. It would've been nice if you varied up the enemy variety a bit (like having a mix of Moblin types and Octoroks in the overworld, have a few Tektites and Peahats in the mountain areas etc), and most of Level 8 felt quite lazy with having 6 Blue Darknuts in almost every room.
Generally this quest wasn't too bad and it was quite nice to play. Sadly the enemy variety and insane difficulty spikes brought the experience down quite a bit, but still quite a nice quest to play. I'd give this about a 3.5/5, which rounds up to a 4. Good job!

Information
NES-style zelda game with an overworld and 10 dungeons. Uses an incomplete version of the New 1st tileset, but I added some tiles from the completed version. Does lack variation in tiles, but I found it much easier to work with a limited tileset. Lacking a name for this quest and can't be bothered to think of one.

Description
While nothing really stands out about this quest I did focus a lot on balancing the enemies. The game will progressively get harder which was one of my main focuses while creating this quest. Some dungeon rooms can be seen as lazy as they are using simple block patterns seen in the original zelda. This is also the first quest I ever finish/upload and while I wouldn't say it's my best work in terms of game making it's one of the few projects I've actually finished. I spent a bit over a month from start to finish with this quest and worked quite actively on it with 20 hours a day at highest.

Tips & Cheats
I ran through the game completing everything several times and did not find any gamebreaking bugs, so I disabled cheats.
For hints though you could check out the "Quest Info" text file for some general important information about the game or take a look below here.
- Lens of Truth helps discovering most secrets like burnable trees or bombable walls.
- No item sold in the overworld is required to beat the game, except for the bow.
- Each dungeon has an item that is required to complete the dungeon and enter the next one.
- If stuck in a dungeon you might as well explore the overworld a bit more.
- This is stated in the text file, but there are no item cellars/passages in dungeons at all.
