THE END IS NEAR

Prologue:
In the year 2022 a list of fatal events almost erased the human race from the planet.

Decades of war, polution and ignorance led us to the borders of oblivion.
Within a few months viruses, natural disasters and worldwide violent riots
took millions of human lives.
Old hostilities had been ditched, but not even the new, united world gouverment "Global Control"
was abled to avoid the global collaps.

At a loss of options, the leaders decided to resume an old, top secret, federal project.
"SKYNET" an artifical intelligence system received general access to all international databanks.
...but It's been to late.

SKYNET could not offer a solution. So the system gave the order to evacute the people,
from outside of the crisis areas and to save them in military underground layers.
First priority has been to save children's lives.

Mankind survived and actually established a new, peaceful society.
Over many years, the underground layers grew and became a utopia
...under protection of SKYNET and the global marine corp's special unit "T.A.L.O.S".
