Welcome to the BoneZone: Gather up a big old pile of them bones. Talk to interesting people. Explore a map made up of the most premium pixels and the choicest of colors. Gather tools, both real and rhetorical, to explore both the physical and mental realms. Poke monsters with the business end of your sword. Lay your heart down onto the sea of the stars.

---Features---

-4(!) overworld maps, some of which have an expansive underground section, all of which are connected.

-Wait what?! is this Bioware? A dialogue system? In Zelda Classic!? Become a professional conversationalist: fully animated first-person dialogue scenes with multiple branching topics. The world may be vast and secrets abound, but you might be able to squeeze the secrets of the world out of somebody.

-Seek out the fabled Rhetorical Toolbelt and manipulate NPCs to your will. Explode your way through a person's mental defenses with a persuasion bomb. Grapple your way into their subconscious mind with the Hookshot of Freudian Analysis ("Die Hookshot, was symbolisiert sie?"). Smash your way to better prices using threat of violence with a "figurative" hammer. Wield true power and cut your way through red tape with the Sword of Bureaucracy.

-A soundtrack of sweet ambient field recordings to help you vibe through the vaporwave nightmare (okay and a bunch of Ys music until I can find the time to record them)

-State-of-the-art satellite images of the Universe's most spectacular celestial bodies... all scaled down to 240p and indexed to 16 colors.

oh and it uses the classic tileset, because we're cutting it raw.

---High-concept spelunking experiences, aka "Dungeons"---

-In an idea totally not ripped off from Alundra/Psychonauts, use your Rhetorical Tools to enter the subconscious of a mysterious figure. Seek out the skeletons in his closet, disassemble them, and acquire some mental bones.

-Scour the inner works, parapets, and towers of a giant bridge in search of a bone. A Skeletal knight and his revenue of Stalfos minions stands between you and the other side of the bridge.

-Go rogue within a realm made up of inscrutable CCSID 437 characters. Seek out the legendary '/'; Dodge the arrows of the cunning 'M'; avoid the lethal bites of the fearsome 's'. Chat up some insane Dr. Strangelove-esque Dwarven mad scientists. Immanentize the eschaton using the Dwarven Orbital Magma Cannon, retrieve the twin bones of Zot and Yendor from the burnt out remains of the Realm of the Dorfs.

-Find your way to the headwaters of the last river on earth: Descend down a pueblo village built into the canyon rockface, and venture through the hollowed out riverside, where massive pillars hold up the land bridges above you.

-Mobile Suit Armos --- Mobile Armor Armos. A gigantic Mecha in space, featuring a "Boss" within the dialogue system. Can you talk your way out of being ventilated by a deranged teenage Mobile Suit Pilot? Can you charm a bone away from her while you are at it?

-Dive into a vortex within the Sea of Stars, and fall onto the surface of a bizarre moon. One part Richard Elfman's The Forbidden Zone, one part Cadet Stimpy and Commander Höek in Marooned. It's the kind of high-concept schlock that I will probably cut from the game for a less ambitious design.
