This game is fantastic so far! I love every aspect of it. The screen design is gorgeous, the use of gameboy tiles is great, the custom enemies, bosses, and scripts in general are extremely impressive, and the dungeon design is a great step up from the original.
Each area manages to establish an atmosphere unique to it, and the neat editions to the original's items (from the current demo) make them more fun to use. The added warp system and save points, in edition to impa, make the game less frustrating. Impa is very helpful if you've never played the original and don't know the dungeon locations (i'm not sure if some of them are going to change).
This is the closest I've seen a zc quest be to an official zelda title. Great job so far, can't wait for this to be released!

Features:
- Welcome to 1993: Combat, kinesthetics, and puzzle mechanics are heavily altered to resemble the Game Boy Zelda games. Enemies are now launched at angles, all enemy behavior is rescripted to match GB behavior, and familiar items behave in new ways.
- A Wide and Wild World: The world is bigger than ever, with a full 16x12 overworld to explore. Dungeons can be tackled in a non-linear order similar to the original, and areas, dungeons, and caves have all been restructured to give a new, fresh experience.
- An Adventure at All Paces: Play it Z1 style and explore however you like, or opt into a guided experience with clear goals and a story focus - the choice is yours.
