The Twilight King
Description:
This track is seriously inspired by the opening intro soundtracks (not the tilte tracks) of Terranigma and Secret of Mana.
...it's also a tribute to the music of Shadowgate.
(baseline + pitched choir "In the dark depths" - SoM; drums Terranigma opening; piano Shadowgate inspired)
But it's DEFINITLY no coverversion or remake. Just my personal, musical experiments at 3:00am.
("This is the song that I wrote at 3am..." ~quote for everybody, who's watching American Dad )
So, if you want to have a track that transports a heavy SoM atmosphere, but you don't wanna cover other game's OSTs...
...consider this one.
UPDATE/EDIT:
Extended version available.
(for longer intros - including a short Z1 Dungeon theme tribute)
There are some changes in the original, short version, too.
I have changed one piano note in the first phrase of the main theme.
Also modified file duration, cause when I opend the file in MIDI Editor, it always skipped the last measure.
(...while zq was reading it perfectly, without skipping anything)
I made this change, to make it easier for you, to edit it by yourself.
I added a lil' rumbling, distant explosion sound, below the pitched choir.
-advanced SetUp info (short version):
START: 4
LOOP START: 21
LOOP END: -1
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-advanced SetUp info (extended version):
START: 4
LOOP START: 5
LOOP END: 405 (it's not supposed to be looped ...but it works fine if you want to loop it)
If you don't want to loop it, leave Loop End at -1 end uncheck the Loop square.
...in this case the music will fade out in the end.
