744: Indefinite

Description:
This updated version includes an entirely rewritten version of the midi.

Indefinite was PureZC founder's favorite piece by Ben. It happens to be one of my favorites by him as well, so as
a fan that likes to transcribe his stuff to midi, it only seemed natural that this was my first piece. Occasionally,
I've gone back and updated/rewritten the midi to meet my current standards, similarly to how Ben himself handles his
older works.

Indefinite got an updated version in late 2014 named Indefinitely, modulating the original up a semitone, adding a
celeste, adding a celeste, and overall a ton of subtle improvements. My first version of Indefinite was written in
2014, so I figured I'd go ahead and update it with what I had learn over that year, along with updating my PureZC
entry. 5 years subsequently passed, and in that time, I started writing my own music and even started minoring in
music. A week or two ago, Ben came across the original project file for Indefinite and ended up updating it once
again, since his work on Sigtau's game project Iris Burning had taught him a lot over the last few years.

I did the same, rewriting the midi from the ground up. The end result was one of my proudest midis. I have no idea
where it can be used in a quest, but I'm using it in my current project A New Dawn: Deluxe, as the music for the
first dungeon. Each version I've written of Indefinite is included here, along with the year. Expect the earlier
two to be much rougher.

Additionally, the 2020 version became so complex that I had to cut out the celeste entirely in one section, just so
the limited number of channels Midi can use wouldn't freak out. I included the full version subtitled GXSCC Optimized,
since I kept everything and changed some instrumentation so it sounded better in the chiptune tracker software GXSCC.

I really liked this song, it's simple but effective. Hopefully it'll be used in a quest :D

It's a pretty simple song, but it is orchestrated nicely. There's a noticeable increase in tension and sense of scale as the song continues. It is a powerful piece overall. Nicely done, Bagel, for composing the song originally and Spamcakes, for sequencing it.
