Original: Hm... It sounded a little bit empty to me, perhaps because there was no use of strings.
Rock: Whoa! This one's actually quite good, but still sounds like it needs SOMETHING else. ("What is this insatiable craving?" I ask myself.)
RPG: Again, lacks oomph.
Battle: Ironically, this one tried to do TOO much with the fluttering instruments. Heh.
I loved the melody shared among all four. Great work.
Decisions
Description:
Yet another MIDI set by the noisemaker here. This time, it's "Decisions".
Decisions is probably the first song I ever considered making a MIDI of (three/four years ago), but I still had yet to figure out all of the features of the program I use today.
After a failed attempt to create the song, I did some experimenting and came up with the original "Playing With Fire", which used my electric keyboard to play the song back. That went well, so I changed it so it would play back using the computer's speakers. That worked too.
After some time, I attempted "Decisions" again, and came up with the non-labeled version in this set, and have three newer versions since.
Decisions: Disable looping.
Battle Mix: Loop from 5 to -1, if I remember correctly.
RPG Mix: This version causes all sorts of volume issues later on. I recommend NOT using it.
Rock Mix: A guitar-happy version of the song. Recommended loop 25 to -1.
Credits:
None.
