The beginning is boring, and for that reason this song is overlooked. But those with patience will be rewarded, because this is a sweet, suppl little song that boasts incredible chord progressions and well adjusted volume levels, which is very important for MIDI songs. The change of pace at the end is also very refreshing, and the constant counterpoint keeps the quaint atmosphere from feeling bland.
I imagine that the harpsichord is an acquired taste for most people, but no matter what instruments were chosen, this is an amazing song.
