Emperor - Pretty good. If you'd managed the volume levels better than it could have been much better, but manages to feel royal enough to pass off as empirical.
Opera - Fantastic job! The vibes in the latter half are a little out of place, but the rest of the song is top notch action content that flows nicely into a Soul Caliber-esque emotion.
NEM - Again, managing the volume levels with precision would benefit the song greatly, but other than that this is a pretty good piece. The vibes/marimba/whatever you have in there mucks up the sound a little big, making it sound less powerful; I wouldn't use those instruments in a serious song unless it was worldly or ethnic. I've never listened to much Metallica though, haha.
ow1 - Fantastic from start to finish. But you still need to quiet down some of the instruments!

Emperor doesn't quite nab the empirical spirit I was hoping for. It is moving and well-constructed in its own way, though.
Opera: Nice. It mixes intensity with drawn-out emotional passages.
NEM: I don't think I'm familiar with the original song, but I like what you did anyway.
ow1: Sounds like it came from Final Fantasy. It's really dark at the beginning but also quite lovely. I love how the march-like drums drive the song along. Excellent.

Emperor: Nice! I like the sudden emperical emotion. Sounds like a theme song for a nice emperor. Its really got an uplifting spirit! I love it! The whole song is great!
Opera: Another nice one. Sounds like a war is going on. Nice rendering with the strings, then the bell like instrument joins...Nice melody! I like it! Great!
NEM: I likd Metallica's music and you did an awsome rendition of that song! It sounds so sweet that it lacks the heavy metal feel! totally Lovely!
ow1: A sad and dark song. But very nice! Not string and flutework! The flute's melody in the beginning is really nice! The string, harp, and flute trio is awsome!
Wow! All 4 songs merit 5 stars! Midiman...Dude! You're talented!
