Some of its good, some of it's mediocre, some of its bad. I don't like the darkness.

THis has inspired me to create a tileset. One where all of the combos, tiles, and pallettes are blank.

Hmmm, where to start...

Well, you used some classic tiles as shown in shot #2, but you edited Link's tiles? The inconsistency looks poor.

The custom tiles shown in shot #3 and #4 don't look very good in my opinion. No stars there.

As far as the terrain goes, some things (like the water edges for example) resemble those of the BS Tileset, except the palettes are horrible. There is no detail to the grass, or the dirt, and i'm not fond of the castle either. The entire tileset seems to be poorly colored rips. On the plus side, it looks organized on the combo page on shot #1.

Sadly, I don't give stars for pity. Try harder next time.

The only real good (new) tiles are the castle and some others... Im sorry but I cant give you any more than one. Also, you should credit the people who actually made this tileset, considering you basicaly just made one on their work, and credit polygon .... you lose the one star you had because you dident give credits out to anyone.

And what about my credit for the grim reaper, water, and grass tiles?

These tiles are good, the castle is good, and the darkness is good, it's true you can adjust brightness, but you can work with these better for darker stuff.
I give it a 5...
